I have owned several Bodyguard versions and sold em all. LCP, LCP max, Glock 42, Sig p238. Kept the Kahr p380. 9.9 ounces is great in pocket with a vedder pocket locker holster. My edc is shield 2.0 with integrated laser or shield plus with red dot. I said I’m done buying guns but after seeing this it could be a great addition.
The shield is one of the best guns ever made in my opinion. I’m super excited to get this to the range, videos will be up soon of a range review.
I’ve had the sig 238, g42, lc380, and a Kahr cw380. Out of all of them I also kept the Kahr as my only 380. Super light weight and about as small as it gets before 32acp. It also had one of the better triggers over the last decade for 380’s. Today I bought a Bodyguard 2.0 for the same reasons.

That’s too funny! I had the cw380 used then upgraded to a used p380 stainless which was older and wasn’t too reliable and sold that also. Tried the g42 but that’s not much smaller than my shield. So I went with a new p380 diamond version thinking they had to have fixed the issues from 10 years ago. They did! My new one fires everything except critical defense which my older one loved. Ha funny.
Out of the BG2.0 and the Kahr what one you like better? Is size much different? I see the weights are almost identical. I was wondering if the added rounds made a huge difference or not. I wear sweat pants and basketball shorts a lot and don’t want a heavier carry.

You guys are becoming so popular, maybe you should try to go around to some indoor ranges to see if you could get discounts, promote their range and products or at least mention them, so there is never a rainy day at the range. I personally haven't gone outdoor range yet, so it would be nice to see if you guys can have fun inside as well.
We actually talked about the indoor range here. We only have one but it’s expensive, small, and you have to use the ammo they sell there. We are think about it however just because it’s supposed to rain every time we try and film
@@TriggeredEasily yeah, no. I wouldn't recommend using that range then. Not sure how they can force you to use their own ammo, that's kind of messed up and I wouldn't support anything like that. I'm sorry that's the only choice you have. I'll be more than happy to wait until the rain goes away then have to have you subject yourselves to indecent range use conditions. I'm not sure why anybody would go to a range that forces you to use their ammo and pay for range time.

As soon as you all held up both versions I could see some differences. Grip stippling, trigger guard, flat trigger, slide serrations. Looking forward to a comparison between the new and the old at the range. 2.0 apprehensions? Doesn't bring back memories of the S&W SD9 2.0 experience?
We’ve definitely discussed the possibility of another sd9 but because of this being an all new platform I feel like smith gave this gun there best stuff. Hopefully we can prove that on the range.
Actually they are night sights, they have a tritium insert in them.

Anybody know where I can buy some extra 12’round magazines for the Bodyguard 2.0?
Unfortunately, gun always comes out before parts. Since this is essentially a brand new platform for smith it’s probably gonna be a month or two before extra mags hit shelves.
