When I bought my gun about 25 years ago it came with an aerosol of C02. I can't seem to see such things on sale now. Are CO2 aerosols sold?

How often do I have to put more silicone oil in the little nozzle adapter? Also, should I put it in the valve of the mag before every fill? Thanks!

You don't have to at all, silicone oil is awful for airsoft guns. That's why it's recommended to use propane instead of green gas. When you put oil in the magazine, it shoots into the nozzle and out through the barrel, which can accumulate gunk and A) mess up the hopup trajectory and B) mix with dust to create grit that can tear up the bore over time. It's best to not use any oil in the magazine, just apply it on the slide rails where necessary.

@@clickpond7825 umm no you ALWAYS need to be sure your airsoft guns are well lubed and the best way is to make sure that it is either apart of the gas or your adapter has a reservoir for it.

@@LandonLewis2244 And your gun won't be well lubed if the only place getting any lubrication is the inside of the nozzle cylinder and the inner barrel. Nothing inside the gun separates the oil from the gas and applies it to the rails where it belongs. The most important places for lubrication are in the fire control group and on the slide/bolt rails, places with the most friction. Oiled gas won't touch any of those areas, it just goes through the nozzle and barrel. Which again, oil in the barrel is bad as it leads to fouling or the formation of a gritty paste, which can wear down on the bore and greatly reduce accuracy.

@@clickpond7825 i agree but when you put it in the nozzle/valve it will oil all of the o-rings and keep those from drying out. you will still need to periodically oil all the parts of your gun like the slide/hammer mechanism.

@@LandonLewis2244 The only o-rings it's gonna lubricate are gonna be those on the piston head, if the gun uses a ringed piston head. That's a piece where you're better off using grease anyways considering any oil inside of the nozzle leaves and gets deposited into the bucking and inner barrel immediately. You especially don't want this because the more oil you get on your bucking, the more it swells and the weaker it becomes. It's a net negative, use un-oiled propane and just lubricate the parts that need it. Very simple.

@@wachatalknboutwillis might need to dremel it out to fit the can tube. Another thing that can be done is to tear off the top of a used green gas can and cut the bottom off the nozzle then drill it to fit the duster can tube. Ive experimented with both and they work in a pinch.

Evike.com. Search for Matrix CNC and you'll find it in that product line. It's called Matrix CNC gas can extension metal adaptor.

      Hello my friend:
I just did a search on Evike as per your suggestion and no nozzles (brass and with the diameter step like yours) turned up.
