Be kind/ Emilie Weisse Circustheater (Trailer)

Be Kind is an intimate circus theatre experience for babies from 6 to 18 months. In this sensory performance of sound, colour and movement, two circus artists take you on a sensory journey.
The little ones are introduced to acrobatics and juggling from very close by. During the performance, a heart-warming dialogue develops between the artists and their young audience. Because of these spontaneous interactions, every performance is slightly different. After the performance, the artists invite the little ones to explore the stage together.
Be Kind is Emilie Weisse’s directorial debut.To discover how to interest, surprise and involve such a young audience in circus, Emilie collaborates with the Baby & Child Research Center in Nijmegen. They provide the performance with scientific evidence on the development of babies. Be kind also brings a specially designed baby book in which you can continue the discovery of circus and play at home.
"Be Kind” is a co-production with TENT, house for contemporary circus and 2turvenhoog festival, in collaboration with the Baby & Child Center and with the support of Fonds voor de Podiumkunsten, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, AFK, Mingler scholarship.
