The original Beyblade series will always be a classic and one of my fav. anime. Kai was always my favorite (and still is) cause he's the coolest. Tyson and Ray are pretty awesome too. :)) I really miss it being on TV so I just recently started watching it again.

The metal series just copy pasted the orignal on point to point and did it more sloppily, and it's concept of beyblades are stupid as fuck. the orignal and the actual bit best mythology was better. In fact the bit beast concept was so good people falsely believe there are bit beasts in the metal universe also.

A lot of times the english dub did things better but a lot of the shit that would have made the original better then the metal series is keeping much of the original dialogue... i'm not gonna bash the dub fully but it fucked up big time under many parts like g revolution and v force in particular. but yeah people won't be allowed to watch that subbed.

Tbh kai and tyson were like the main characters that season. And daichi was only till that world championship. So i think this season more or less revolved about tyson and kai's rivalry. I think kai is strongest. And he would have won easily in the final against tyson. Tyson wasn't even that tired. Kai did a practice game against 2 blitzerig boys better which was strknger than those brothers and sisters(i watched it long time ago). Kai would have defeated tyson. But if we count brooklyn, then kai isn't stronger than him. I don't think he was using his full ower like he did against tysom

Yeah the original show had a lot of that. I'm sorry you won't ever follow the full series but I understand you it's flawed especially the dub then people don't quite like the japanese voices for some reason. I personally always prefered the itallian version which had the uncut stuff and great voices.

thank you veryy much I've written 58 chapters of a series continuing the original beyblade story called final legacy it's more dark and mature and takes place when the blade breakers are adults. The main characters are their kids but it has major battles for the adult characters too. many who've read it have considered it better then the original series and many would consider it their head canon of what happened afterwards. It's no walk in the park though. It takes the natural progression of beyblading and moves it in places a official show never would cause they'd only gear things towards kids. For example there's this thing called the beyblading underground which is a subculture which was first introduced in the original series. Like with king and queen who hated tournaments saw cheating as the norm and just another part of the game. Rick also visited the beyblading underground in g revolution episode 4 that den where beyblading was done for illegal gambling. That's a only a hint how dark the beyblading underground and by extension the underworld gets when it goes really dark you have everything from hitmen to major crime lords. Everything is a natural continuation in many ways too... Like every major character gets development even someone like Boris who gets a backstory and a whole ideology while at the same time being more threatening then ever in what he created before his death. By following Final Legacy you'd enjoy beyblade more cause everything becomes perfect in the end improving on everything you saw in the original show. Even side characters get their moment to shine. Beybladings ancient past gets explored too you get new techniques and ideas you'd never thought of before.
