Parsis or Parsees are an ethnoreligious group of the Indian subcontinent whose religion is Zoroastrianism. Their ancestors migrated to the region from Sassanid Iran following its conquest by Arab Muslims under the Rashidun Caliphate in the 7th century CE.

There is no evidence in history to support the suggestion that Quaed-a-Azam may have been a Parsi. He was born a Muslim, remained a Muslim and died a Muslim. For those less informed about Parsis, their religion does not allow conversion. You can only become a Parsi if you are born as one. The lineage is passed down by the mother. Any Parsi lady who marries a non Parsi no longer remains a Parsi. Quaed-e-Azam's wife had converted to Islam before she married him.

Quaid e Azam was not and never a Parsi but he was from Ismaili sectt and when he wanted to marry, the women was from Parsi religion. In order to get married both of them converted into Bohra shia sectt. This is the back ground, prior to death Quaid became Sunni Muslim that's why Shabir Ahmad Usmani carry out the Namaz e Janaza of Quaid but Shia people also carry out the Namaz e Janaza. These things are irrelevant as Quaid has done the great job for the Muslims through his hardworking and intelligence.

@@rustumratanratan2132 Have you ever studied the history, Quaid parents came from central Asia and settled in interior sindh due to scorching heat they requested governor Hudson about shifting to Karachi. Governor Hudson shifted them to Karachi and asked the chief of Ismaili in sindh for their help in settling in business so the parents finally settled in Karachi. The language of Ismaili's is Gujarati where ever they live as an example people living in gilgit speak Gujarati, Ismaili's living in central Asia speaks gujrati.

@@rustumratanratan2132 He was born in Karachi and by birth belongs to Ismaili firqa, if you are a Pakistani and living in karachi then do visit Ismaili jamat khana near Tower and ask some very old Ismaili of around 70 years of age. He will tell you more about Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Quaid e Azam). Then you might get more clarity about him. In past around 1000 years back Ismailis live in Iran but when Shia got hold of Iran then they pushed these Ismailis to central Asia and other places and since then these Ismailis are living there. These Ismailis have good connection with the Ismailis of India. That's why the parents of Quaid e Azam moved to Karachi. Prior to death of Quaid e Azam he was a very good Muslim and always worried about Muslims. East Pakistani usually says that till time Quaid e Azam, Liaquat Ali Khan are alive there is no problem for Pakistan, but after their death you must have observed what happens.
