A cool thing I tried for crisper paint lines is a layer of base paint (in this case white) when the tape is in place. Then the layer of black and it prevents bleeding!

Very inspiring! When painting with masking tape you should try and paint with white paint first, let it dry then your black paint on top of that white paint 🎨 Your lines should be very neat and clean ☺️💛

When painting strips before you paint the black go over your stripes with your white or whatever your base color is, wait for it to dry and then go over it with your stripe color. As soon as you do your last coat of stripe color pull up your tape. The reason you do this is because if it bleeds under the tape it will be your base color and your stripes will be perfectly crisp. Also when you put your tape down burnish the edges really well which means to slid your finger along the edges of the tape so they are sealed very well which makes it harder for anything to bleed. Hope this helps 🙂 I love your designs thou I will definitely be making them.
