no matter who you think won. You HAVE to give credit to Llyod and Pete for being able to actually hang with Snoop toe to toe
The damn thing is that the ERB crew writes all the lines. Both Snoop and JB Smoove said they agreed to do it because the lyrics were so strong. About the only guest that writes their own lines is Zach Sherwin, and that is because nobody can write for Zach. There are four of them in the writing team for ERB, and they are the whitest boys on the planet, but they spit fire.
I remember Snoop saying a few years ago that for a couple of white boys they could write some good lines!
Totally man, the ERB boys have set the new bar - if you can't top these jokers, keep yo mouth shut!
Snoop is a very chill guy, he probably followed ERB for years and agreed to do a collab. That's a true artist right there.
My favorite part had to be the line "Isrea-L BC." Not because it's a snoop reference, but, because it actually means Israel before Christ. That was very clever.
Also a reference to Snoop himself, who's from Long Beach California (L.B.C) and actually has a line in one of his songs saying "So much drama in the L.B.C"

Going by PURE BARS.... Santa kills it. But because it's Snoop, people give his bars more credit than they are really worth. I've seen people who have NO CLUE who Snoop is and flat out say that "The guy playing Moses only had one or 2 good lines". I'm kind of torn myself. I think that Santa's bars were harder hitting, but Snoop is the true professional that had a smoother delivery on his bars.

Moses just kept using the same 2 jabs of Santa being fat and a kid creeper. I completely agree that if it weren't for the fact that they got Snoop to play him, Santa would have taken the win.
I think "You took the Christ out of Christmas and just added more mass" is one of my favorite ERB lines ever. It takes a very well known phrase and takes it to is logical conclusion. We've heard the phrase "take the Christ out of Christmas" but never did I make the connection that "Christmas - Christ = mas(s)"

No lie, Santa's "smoking that burning bush" line was fire cuz he did a double haymaker on Moses & Snoop individually but because it was Snoop as Moses, Santa couldn't win. Had Moses been played by someone else, Santa may have taken it. But when you are going up against Snoop D-o-double-g , trying to get a win in against the legend is gonna prove impossible

A little behind the scene info for y'all... Epic Lloyd still has the blunt he smoked with snoop (5years+ later) AND snoop got a ticked off at the ERB boys cause they sent him his verse lyrics but they didnt sample it for him. So he thought they were a bit unprofessional about the whole thing.. Turns out nice peter and epic Lloyd were nervous and didnt want to seem like they were telling snoop how to do his job. xD

I've always loved this battle, and I have always stuck with Santa winning. The bars and delivery are so fire when you go in-depth, and not only that but as the true saint, man doesn't even need to curse at all in his verse to deliver.
