Behold the Anime that got me into the world of anime. Ignoring animes i grew up watching via TV like Pokemon i consider Corpse Party to have been my first anime. it pushed me down the rabbit hole of death heavy animes and twisted me through many genres and series and even though it wasn't as good as the game which brought the anime to my attention (I watched Pewdiepies Play-through) i still hold this anime with pride as it basically started my anime addiction. I believe i went from Corpse Party to Another to Mirai Nikki to Tokyo Ghoul to Attack on Titan to Btoom to Akame Ga Kill (obviously with several animes inbetween) but ive now reached basically 200 animes and i still have this joy when i re-watch Corpse Party as it reminds me of what i love in anime which is absolute mindfucking and main characters who are basically dead from the start watching the death scenes in Corpse Party are just so satisfying to me. especially Mayu's and Yuka's. My favorite character has to Morshige cause him going further insane because of Mayu made sense in this sick world they were sent to. on a side note my favorite genres are Isekai (yes im into that trash) and Psychological and the other day when i was starting to plan out the outline for this AMV i was like "Isn't Corpse Party Technically an Isekai haha". But yes i absolutely have appreciation for this anime even though its not the best adaption but i mostly appreciate the VA when it comes to the deaths cause damn Yuka sounds genuinely in pain while being stabbed to death. ALSO SACHIKO'S VA IS GODDAMN PIKACHU!!! Always loved that and made watching that murderer even more amazing. Also sorry for the quality of the video i couldnt find Corpse Party in HD so i had to use a 640x360 Version but export it as HD so it came out like this so sorry bout that.
