I do Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB and my best advice is: Drag a tiny amount of brake deeper into the corner to ensure the weight stays on the nose. Otherwise, you get insane understeer due to the majority of the weight being behind you. - Brake bias rearwards! - Brake earlier and with smoothness onto and off of the brake. Your brake trace onto the brake is very spiky. This car really doesn't reward that initial brake stab like others. Roll onto the brake, brake earlier and keep up minimum speed. - Double clutch will have you rocketing off the start. Set 1 clutch at 100%, one at about 33% (watch out for tracks with gradient starts!), dump first clutch at green and feed second clutch off very shortly after. I find using the quick reset function great for practicing starts. Good luck out there!
Great feedback, thank you! I set up my dual clutch this morning. I was struggling with 33%, spinning the rears off the line. I went up a few clicks and found something I can work with. Waaay better than my previous method. I also learned you can easily burn up a clutch in iRacing! 😂
Good run. I literally watched the Dave Cam vid of this race right before this. I know he’s stupid fast in everything but I noticed he brakes about 10 meters before you in almost every corner. So maybe back it down just a hair on entry so you can get better rotation and drive off the corner? I dunno just what I noticed
Oooo PCUP esports guys are wicked fast. My tips would be to set the brake bias very rearward, in fixed i'll run between -6.5 to -7.5 and another tip is trail brake like a mofo for that sweet sweet rotation. Good luck brother!
Chris, just stumbled upon your channel and am enjoying the content! What overlay do you use? I really like the flag colors that wrap around your relative box.
wow. is your sound out of sync? Thought how late this guy is braking until i noticed its exact the same visually, but sound of the engine ist changing 50m to late.

What's a rough estimate for setting brake bias? It's not something I generally change in GT3 and so I'm struggling with it here in pcup.
@@chrisstewarttv It can vary slightly track to track but try around the 41.6% mark (-5.00), that's where I usually start when I'm driving a new track.
just realised I posted an absolutely incorrect number. Edited the above!
Great racing. Gonna check this series out a bit more 😎
Thanks man, appreciate it. 👍
Nice one Chris, its always good to try new cars / Make new content. Letsss Go
Thanks! 🙏

Much appreciated! I'm using Racelabs for my stream overlays. 👍
Awesome, thanks for the info! That’s what I’m using as well. I didn’t realize you could do that with the flags very cool.
Great video ! Can you share your graphics settings ? Beleive your also running 4090?
Take a look here, time stamp 34:46, ua-cam.com/users/liveHbvUWEN4Gmc?si=SNYah3sXkHGZPhRL
Yes, I'm using a 4090.
try moving your brake bias to 5.0 instead of 4.5. Helps with the lockups.
Makes sense, appreciate the tip!

Hmm, shouldn't be. I'll have to look.
if your fast in the porsche cup car your fast in pretty much everything on iRacing i heard.
I've heard the same and I tend to agree, especially in sports cars.
I want to get this car .
You should, it's great.
Braking too late it looks like
Yeah, looking back I think you're onto something.
