I'm shooting with a z30 too. I had to return the fan as with my rig I've got a npf battery in the way. It's silly, but I have a couple of small ice packs for kids lunch boxes. It works but it's janky.
If it works it works! I was hesitant on buying a dummy battery because they are all made by unknown brands… I did find a good one by Neewer if you have a mobile rig/setup. Working on that video this weekend
the dummy batter helps the heat quite a bit. I got a couple of NPF's and a plate with some cheese plates to make it work. It's a little heavier, not a lot.@@MatsuXL
rubber bands are the way to go for now 😂 Did it help with the overheating tho? if yes ... then by how much ? how much longer were you able to shoot your videos after using it ?
Rubber bands I always forget! lol When I used it I was able to get over an hour. Issue was the fan’s battery died and then overheating occurred. Fan lasts about two hours
