I never understood why the vice principle was targeting Ethan in this episode. I get he was apart of the enemy, but wasn't his main target the vampires?

It’s weird because in the episode after it, Benny has to tell him that Ethan is a seer and he really knows little to nothing about who everyone is. I’ve always taken it as hype for the season finale and not really canon that it was him
