Wow so in 1998 I was forced by a teacher to relearn everything from eating to writing with my right hand. She didnt make me sit on my left but she hovered over me all day every day even at lunch and refused to allow me to use my left.
What I don't understand is why does it matter which hand do you use? Why does everyone have to be right handed? I would never ever think of forcing a child to use their right hand if they are a lefty. Left handed people tend to be more creative anyway.

Hi Matt. In my country we have a mandatory quarantine, there is a lot of paranoia and insecurity in the people and the confinement does not help. I imagine it is no different in other parts of the world. The content that inspires paranoia and fear may not be the best right now.

Classical music will label notes and such extremely specifically, but most musicians would otherwise know that note as A5. Labeling it "A440" predates the theory's timeline by hundreds of years, let alone its existence since the dawn of time. 😂😂🤣😂

When I was born my grandpa knew that being left handed was seen as demonic and intentionally forced me to use my right hand. They noticed I would grab things with my left when I was months old. I later found out through my mom that was the case and I truly believe that being left handed is like having an advantage bc your brain is wired differently but being able to use both is an even greater advantage. Don't get me wrong being righted isn't bad either. The world is right handed for you. Also, I can use both my feet to kick, pass and shot the ball in soccer but I am left foot dominate while being right handed dominate.
My mom is left handed and so was her brother. In school, they would get their hands smaked with a ruler if they were seen using their left hand or if their handwriting slanted in a way to suggest they were writing with their left hand. My uncle became ambidextrous and my mom learned how to make her handwriting look like she was using her right hand when she was really using her left and was just very cautious about not letting her teachers actually see her writing (she had to drop out at 15, so she didn't have deal with it as long as her brother did).
Been in this rabbit hole for a few days now and events are surprisingly adding up

I'm ambidextrous, I can type quicker than most people and write with either hand. Its also difficult for choosing gear in things like golf clubs, fishing rods, bows, guitars and anything else that requires a preferred handedness. I have noticed myself that most left handed people are good at drawing in one way or another.
