A little over a year ago while applying for my masters studies, I doubted every single chance of getting into my dream university. This week, I found myself in Barcelona, delivering a speech to over 2000 people at the graduation ceremony of my dream university.
If I met my past self:
7 year old Karan would be thrilled to know that his voice matters.
10 year old Karan would be amazed that he moved to Barcelona by himself.
15 year old Karan would be relieved to know that his future plans are steadily falling into place.
Mostly, 20 year old Karan would be proud to see him staying true to himself.
Honestly, I’m at a sheer loss of words for the rollercoaster of emotions I have experienced in the past two days. All I know is that I’m insanely grateful for the people in my life (you know who you are) and for every opportunity that has come my way.
There’s so much left to achieve, there’s so much more to do, there’s so much that has not been done. This is just the beginning.
