Gah! The feels. Oh, man. So many emotions. I like Bu Bu Jing Xin (Chinese version of this drama) so it's no surprise that I liked this drama too. The acting was a little forced and awkward in the beginning but as the story progressed, it seemed a lot more natural. And isn't it cute that the characters have such similar name? Wang So. Hae Soo. So + Soo Couple (:
The Chinese version of this drama was a bit longer and focused more on when the prince got his throne and how he ruled his kingdom. The Korean adaptation is mostly about the journey to ascending the throne. I liked the addition of his scar, it added a lot of meaningful outlook on physical appearance and showcased the trauma the character endured. I watched the Chinese version four years ago, I don't remember much of the story line but I vividly remember the ending. I was hoping it would be different but.. Hmm. I'm not going to tell you guys. Hahaa, you should definitely watch it for yourself. Lots of eye candy ~
The ending sets it up for a season two. "If we are not from the same world, I will find you. My Soo." I doubt there will be a second season in modern day but it gives some of us hope anyway. Usually historical dramas that transition into modern day.. They aren't.. Good. What do you think?

I still want a season 2 even if that's a rare occurrence in the drama world! I really don't like the way the final episode ended. I needed more from it than the last few minutes gave us. I'm trying not give spoilers away but anyone that's watched it will know exactly what I'm talking about.

Still enjoyable but......hated how the daughter had to live with 14th prince, and I hated how they didn't make him show up in the modern time. I NEED CLOSURE lol xD

Her daughter is Wang So's child. When she married the 14th Prince she was already pregnant of Wang So's baby.

You've done it yet again! This is one of my favorites yet, as it's for one of my new favorite series. You perfectly captured the main love triangle and the beautiful dark, but strangely innocent feeling of So and Soo's relationship.
I didn't think I could love this drama anymore than I already did, but watching this makes me love it even more... Oh lord, the feels 😩

Till this day this drama is one of those which i couldn't move on from. Because the ending didn't felt like the end. So i will just pretend they met again in modern world and lived happily ever after

I laughed so hard in this series and then when it got to the end I wanted to die bc I felt so sad and I was like crying 4 ages it’s so beautiful this story and then she was like in the end when she returned to her world she was like sorry 4 leaving u alone and that killed me and then I watched the making and then I was happy again

I had no intention of watching this drama cause I'm not that much into Historical dramas even if some are really worth watching. But then just one glance at your MV and I was hooked! Now I just finished watching the show and still think you did an amazing job with this MV, it's flawless!!! :)

P.S. I fully agree about historicals transferring to moderns as not the best idea. They usually lose the feel of the original story entirely. I would have liked to see a clear reunion, but even that might have seemed fairly campy for such a dark, serious drama. The ending as it was, was really beautiful.
The one series I think that could transition well is Gu: Family Book. That "Uh oh, here we go again" ending was one of the best things ever. I would definitely watch a modern continuation of that.
Agree! The meeting in modern world would totally spoil the atmosphere of drama! As sad as it was, the ending was right - it left impression in my heart!
But I would like the better ending for them in Goryo time, at least let him see her one more time..

Absolutely loved this video. Don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers. You and dreamie are probably my too favourite FMV makers - you should have just as many subscribers. Only constructive criticism for the video is the text didn’t appear on screen long enough so I had to keep rewinding and pausing to read it. Other than that, fantastic work :)
I would love to have a season 2.... but if it's like the chinese version, no need. I watched the season 2 of the chinese version... but it was so messy, so much things happened... i feel that at the end, the chinese completely lost the spirit/feeling of those two.
So if there is a season 2, please do it differently haha.
