I love how Kliff didn’t wait to abandon his game plan and immediately switched it up. He said a few weeks back he’s still an air raid guy at heart and he ain’t afraid to air it out if he needed to. And boy did he!
💯 Facts I see Kliff still has a duffel bag of plays he's got for Jayden & he's said that gonna let Daniels go cause he can operate in empty cause of his accuracy, space to use that elite athleticism
To all the Eagles fans who say False Start should've been called on the game winning TD. Lane Johnson has been starting early like that almost every game for the last 3 seasons, and has not been called for it once. Eagles fans only wanted False Start called because they lost. They've had no problem with Lane Johnson doing it when they're winning
Sadly they don’t want to hear that because they trying to discredit the win because their Starting QB wasn’t in, yet they had no issue feasting off the Barely Backup Level Starting QBs (with the exception of a few) we had for decades.
Jayden is unlike any other rookie I’ve seen. Before the draft I was a bit confused that he wasn’t the number one prospect because it’s super rare to find a guy with elite passing traits who is also the best athlete on the field. Not sure how defenses can defend that. It’s a true pick your poison.
@@Redskins4Life21-d2o lmao are u serious? We would have this same conversation if bears had taken Jayden over Caleb. As a Commanders fan and former player, I can say that this kid is way underrated. His throws with anticipation, body mechanics, pocket mechanics and footwork are already elite. He’s doing this with a mid coach/coordinator and mid talent. With better pieces we would be calling him the best QB in the league.
@@dagr8dwalo777 sorry to inform you but Kingsbury is not elite. He has his moments but he’s not consistently winning the chess match throughout the game. Route concepts are often sus. It’s levels to the game.

beautiful breakdown....makes me appreciate those QBs who are really good, and understand play designs, anticipations, and execution...my first time here. Thanks
Jayden’s speed is really underrated. He runs with such fluidity and ease that it looks like he’s not fast… but he’s actually both really quick and really fast. He didn’t run a 40 at the combine, but I bet it’s in the low 4.3’s. He has highly developed instincts to “feel” what angle defenders have on him, which is why he easily ran through the three defenders on that 4th and 11. Finally, his ability to juke defenders on the run is perhaps the best of any QB in the league.
Zach Ertz alertness to come back and chip 23 on the 4th and 11 scramble got no mention. That was a split second decision and an exceptional play that enabled the first down
11:05 yea Ertz is open but we call him “no YAC Zach” for a reason. Jayden learned his lesson from the Steelers game lol dude took a knee before the first down marker
Reminds me alot of Randall Cunningham but even quicker and more explosive. Thin but tuff and durable, great deep ball thrower also has tremendous pocket feel for free rushers . Processes reads quickly and is extremely decisive cutting the ball loose. Unlike Cunningham Jayden has a very quick release that helps in the short game. This dude was built in a lab to be QB1.
Thanks. The camera view you showed. I didnt know that a few of those big plays. The wrs weren't even open when Jayden had already started throwing it. He has a real nice touch and timing.
On the masterful 30-yard Daniels run, it was Zach Ertz who sprang him. He comes back, gets PERFECTLY in the way of one defender - with really very little contact - which then causes two other Eagles' defenders to run into one another; THIS is what sprang him downfield!
Jayden Daniels showed this same skill set at LSU. That 4th &11 scramble was eerily similar to the 50 yard Td scramble vs Florida. Jayden has the rare ability to bend & contort his body to get through small spaces yet he doesn't lose acceleration while he's cutting that's why guys with good angles have a difficult time getting him. Both of those runs looks like he should've been dead to rights but he has elite agility & abilities to stop, start, juke, & cut without sacrificing speed Phenomenal. What's scary for the league is his running abilities are elite but his arm, poise, & QB IQ are even better.
Thank you for these breakdowns. Washington fan since 1975 so I have seen the full spectrum of their successes and failures. First time in a long time I felt good sticking with the game when they were down 13 points. Of all of the people that break down plays, your explanations are thorough with being overly complicated. I always look forward to them. Are you ever going to get into coaching a team?
I thought RG3 had one of the best rookie seasons I’ve ever seen, he also had a 1600 yard r.b. and a gimmick offense know one had seen. But this dude, is on another level. Best rookie qb I have ever seen. Anticipation, accuracy, mechanics, makes good reads, above avg arm talent, a good feel for when the pocket collapses and make the right decision when it does. Oh and at bare minimum has 4.4 speed, with 740 rushing yards and 6 rushing tds this year. He may not have Burrows stats but as far as what he means to the Commanders, going from worst to almost 1st, imo is the MVP for 2024. I hope the bears have their qb, but thanks for taking Williams. He’s know where close to being as polished as J.D.
Dude this team has absolutely no quit, they never give up. They got as much if not more heart than any other team in the league. And Jayden has more poise & confidence than any rookie ive seen in any sport, other than MJ. He's smiling in the biggest moments of these games, it's super impressive. I'm so glad we drafted him, he has helped turn this franchise around at least 3x quicker than anyone expected. And i don't even think anyone expected us to be THIS good within 3 yrs. Man i am so happy for my boys! Time to Raise Hail! Awesome video brother, thanks for covering our Commanders since no big media ever wants to talk about the small market teams like us. At least not barely at all. Merry Christmas to u & your family Chase & God bless!
The thing about the McLaurin TD was that he was still on the 25 yard line when Daniels released the ball. It was a great wedge shot to give McLaurin time to get under the ball.
Chase I have to say I watch when you first hit the “media” scene and I was like “meh” typical ex-QB take fast forward to 2024 man I freaking love you on the Facility and your QB breakdowns are the best on UA-cam!!! Keep up the excellent job man I’m a big fan!!!
Nice breakdown Chase!! Question, why don't analyst give breakdowns on the defensive tackling? We knocked Jalen out, we started smacking Saquon in the 2nd half, and drilled Devonte Smith on his last reception which knocked the wind out of him. That made him hear footsteps on the ball that he dropped. Hitting was a big factor in this game. Your thoughts?
in order to progress you have to beat the teams that are the best. JD5 just put on a clinic on how to beat the Eagles. Provided tape for the next team to play the Eagles. I never dreamed in my wildest dreams that we would be 10-5 this year. I just wanted our team to be back in the conversation. This kid, this team, this coaching staff, this ownership has put the NFL on notice. As Prime Time likes to say "we comin, you better get us this year because we keeping receipts" ROTY is a lock and Coach Quin should be in the conversation to be HC of the Year! Best part about this game is that with the Dub for Washington, the Cowboys got eliminated from the playoffs!
great breakdown. one thing I notice with jaylen compared w/ caleb (sorry these two will always be connected at the hip, at least in chicago ) is how clean and quick his delivery is. no wasted movement. and he trusts the receivers so will throw the receiver open. with caleb, his release isn't as smooth, then you'll see the happy feet as he's waiting till a receiver shows open before he throws. that's where his big arm comes in to make up for the so so fundamentals. someone like purdy doesn't have the arm but has a great feel for the position. daniels has both: arm + feel.

Excellent analysis and commentary by Chase Daniel, but he should do a little more homework before recording it so that he doesn't have to say "this guy" or "that guy" so often. The players have numbers that identify who they are!
10:39 Even though Ertz is open he makes the exact same mistake as the Steelers game and runs 1 yard short of the stick. I would rather Jayden take it in his own hands with all of that open field than risk another 4th down falling painfully short.
