- This was kind of hinted at during the Nerf Perk leaks with things like the Surefire, but now we have a physical confirmation? It could be a well painted blaster, but an eagle eye'd Gavin Fuzzy pointed out that there's new lines on the shell and what appears to be a new de-prime button common with the new blasters, which points to this blaster having new and upgraded internals! Finally, a by-the-book elite Sniper Rifle we've all been waiting for.

@@darkmagician6688 Kids these days are stupid, even more so than back when the OG titan was released. And air blasters are risky: an ignorant kid could try to mod it and make it blow up on their face. I know hasbro will not take any chances.
And magically I figure out a new way to hold the Longstrike...which gives me plenty of bad ideas....also lemme know how you like this setup, and lemme know how you appreciate the lighting from MrSonicOSG!

Unfortunately it won't, it's meant to be a light-weight option that allows me to basically not have a blaster and still have incredible amounts of firepower.
@@WalcomS7 you could use a smaller blade (zombiestrike machete?)then his and maybe a simple rotation mech with a pivot point and swing arm powered by even just a bungie cord. Could still be a small lightweight design but it's your baby you know best

Well, I just checked the "Getting Points" page on Nerfperks, and yeah, they have a Modulus Longstrike there that earns you 700 points. Which, if their point strategy is consistent, means they're looking at an MSRP around $70
This might explain why I saw the Deploy on there within the last month or so as well to earn points from.

I really hope it is real. I have REALLY crap luck when it comes to thrifting and got into Nerf to late to get one new. I have never seen a Longstrick IRL. I'd love to, but like I said, crap luck. PLZ Nerf gods let this be real.
I have bad luck too, but I was able to get one and I've seen a few others. How? Shopgoodwill.com it's basically if Ebay and Goodwill had a kid. I've gotten a bunch of awesome blasters from there, including a perfectly working magstrike and Longstrike. The shipping is quite expensive, but it often is totally worth it.

If its not, get an immortal kit before they're all gone. I finally caved and got one, put it in yesterday and I've blown away by the performance. Even the old orange darts hit like a hammer out of it
Hopefully they bring more of the OG blasters like the stampede and the quick 16 but in new colors and internals

Bipod and Mag I believe are the ones from the Raptorstrike, while the Scope I believe is from the Long Distance Upgrade Kit.
Oh ok, the fact it’s using pre existing attachments might have sparked some belief that it is fake, however it just seems that is what nerf is doing nowadays
Ya, it's from the raptorstrike, along with the 3 6-round mags, (the 1 in the blaster, and the other 2 in the mag holders in the stock). I think that if/when this goes on sale, then it can be a pretty good way to get lots of those really cool 6- round mags (and a really cool "sniper") also, the bipod is the same one from the raptorstrike (it wasn't actually that bad of a blaster, considering it was basically a $50 retaliator)
Walcom is correct. Bipod and mags are new, the scope is from Modulus
I think the bipod looks more like the Raptorstrike Bipod than the Mega Centurion one, just the shape and the size look more like the Raptorstrike one, just in different colours (oh Hasbro, you and your repaints!)
The mag looks great though, I might have to get one (if and when they are released in the UK) and some of the NFStrike transparent 6-dart "sniper" magazines, with the angled bottom, not for any practical reason, they just look cooler than a squared off one.

I just put Retaliator internals in my Longstrike two weeks ago and now it looks like we're getting a direct prime version nice timing Nerf. LoL!
Aaand it's real, confirmed by the official Nerf UA-cam channel. Amazon exclusive but they're being generous with the clips and Elite spec internals.

Im pretty sure that by 'a possible return of the longshot' you mean a true "elite" version, not just the n-strike lingshot painted blue and called "elite", but still, think about it for a sec, an elite stampede. Oh wait, thats the rapidstrike. No, stampede=electronic springer, rapidstrike=flywheel, BIG FREAKING DIFFERENCE HASBRO!
They will most likely never bring the Longshot back. We got lucky with the zombiestrike variant but with the massive plunger tube it has and all the mods available for it now hasbro will most likely never release it again. *UNLESS* the community truly wants the Longshot to return for parts, plunger tubes, springs, etc

I've been wondering if an expanded plunger would fit in a longstrike nicely, I've been wanting to see with my Retali-Strike for some time now.
i noticed it on nerf perks and was really interested, at the time there wasnt any picture but it was there

I hope it’s real. The long strike is my favorite blaster of all time, and one of my first blasters ever. I have a huge attachment to the long strike and I love the modulus line.

I've always loved the form factor of the Longstrike, so seeing this is making me happy. I really hope this is real.
Are all the warning labels in the side printed the same way? I don't have a regular longstrike to compare it to.

I posted the leak on Nerf Modders Welcome. It's not picture of the repaint, but the original at the time. It was a few months ago.

Can't wait to pick this up if it has elite internals. I own hoths old longstrike which was the first homemade internals to make a longstrike direct plunger. So it'll be cool to have a stock direct plunger one too.
Of course the secret project is a commandfire. As for the longstrike, I'd bet that, between the reengineering, the modulus paint job, and the length of time since the longstrike was available, I think it's real but coming out under a new name. Like the rayven got turned into the rayvenfire.

One other upgrade that a new Longstrike needs is a properly removable stock.
WalcomS7 Do I think it's real? Hmm... I can make equally valid arguments both for and against, so I withhold judgement. Do I •want• it to be true? 100% hell yes. Even if it's a straight reprint of the original blaster, I want them to hit the market. I love the stock for integrations and the barrel for masterkeys, so anything that puts more of those into the community is worthwhile. If the blaster is reworked to modern performance standards, that's just pure gravy.
Walcom certainly has done a good job on reviewing some cool stuff. The full metal gears for the slingfire answered my prayers.
I still need to install the mod kit in my Slingfire, it's hardly practical as blasters go, but it's really good fun for that wild west style action!
Where did you get the metal gear set? Does it come with a less flimsy priming lever?
I haven't bought it yet, but I'll set some money aside for it.
I hope it's real. Getting a new Longstrike is so expensive and with new internal would be sweet
Just as long as it costs less than a Prometheus or even a Nemesis (come on, it's a springer for crying out loud, you'll scrap most of the internals anyway), I'm in, day one.

If this thing does end up being real (and I see no reason why it wouldn’t be) it’s probably going to be anywhere from $60 to $80.
I'd happily pay £60 for one, £80 is pushing it a bit though, considering if it is direct-plunger, I'll be scrapping a lot of the internals for metal aftermarket (probably Worker or OMW) parts anyway.
One of my friends has a Longstrike. It gets outranged by a Recon, but it's still awesome.

The bipod is a white coloured painted Raptorstrike bipod.
Looks like the old N-STRIKE shield emblems on the side of the body have been removed from the molds and replaced with something else...plus the aforementioned possible unjam button. I'd say it's real.

Sadly, I don't think this will have direct plunger internals, the elite Longshot got no upgrades, but we can hope

It looks like the magazine which I do not recognize is clear on one side, and I don't know how easy this would be to fake.

Those depriming buttons NEVER work for me. I try and push it and nothing.
Same here, I tried it on my Magnus and it does nothing, however with my K26'd Apollo, it does work so I can shotgun 2 or 3 HIR's with still good ranges.
They also had the deploy and the marauder sword....
I would love if they brought the Manta Ray back. Even a cool remix/modern version

Okay as of RIGHT NOW... (Friday Nov 2nd 2018 at 2:40AM EST) the modulus longstrike is officially open for pre orders on amazon for 70 dollars with an expected ship date/availability date of Nov 15th 2018.
Problem is that the photos on the Amazon page are TOTALLY sketchy.. clips in the wrong way, scopes on backwards, scopes on the barrel, a random photo of a 250 dart set of blue elites even though its a modulus blaster, etc. Seems sloppy and unrefined. Any chance this is not the legitimate item? Any way to ensure it is authentic since it will be shipping in Amazon’s “frustration free” packaging? (I.E. a cardboard box!) Any thoughts?

Yes!!1 This and Modulus Demolisher are my must haves. I absolutely love the aesthetics of both. The new Demo has some awesome looking attachments to go along too.

Well...now I get a second bite at that apple..I wanted to get this cool looking thing when it first came out but kept putting it off until the only part I could get from it was the barrel extension...and that was 40 bucks by itself.

So i checked the nerfperks website and found a modulus longstrike, the picture was the original but the title said quite clearly modulus longstrike
It will most likely have tri-strike internals
Who knows, maybe nerf is ditching the original long strike internals with retaliator internals... for sake of production

So in other words, My Retali-Strike build might be pointless... foo.
If this has elite internals, it'll be worth it given the price of the OMW kit for it or just the work in making it elite yourself.
