Hello there. Sam, you are like one of those lovely teachers where everyone wants to be in your class, and everyone does so well because they are so happy. A big thank you. 🦋
I have watched many UA-cam’s on the impossible box and yours is, by far, the best explanation. Thank you so much for making the instructions so clear. I now understand the math behind the box so will be able to make any size I want. You just made my day!!! Off, now, to make 4 to fit my homemade vanilla bottles😍
Man, Sam....I've been watching you for about a year now, and not only are you talented and creative, but you are such a great teacher! Trust me, because if you can get thru this 'thick skull of mine', you can get thru to anyone LOL! Seriously though, I'm in awe! Stay safe & healthy, Sam.
This one ticks ALL the boxes Sam. I was sure you had posted this one a while back, which is when I last made this clever box. No loosing the lid on this one. Loved your instructions. You make things look so easy, which encourages everyone to get the paper out and try. This one's going in THE BOOK OF SAMS TUTORIALS 😂 yep, I have one. X Love this type of papercrafting. Paper is amazing. Love it. Thanks for sharing. X
Love this box! A lovely dinner table treat box! This will be lovely to use to celebrate the coming back together safely after this disastrous year, I should imagine when ever it happens it will feel like Christmas ..where we find family time!
You always do such lovely work, you never disappoint. You went beyond today making 3 boxes, thx so much Sam you are wonderful person. God bless, Lisa Sinks
One of the best tutorials for this box I’ve ever seen. I remember these boxes back in the 80s and they didn’t make it this easy to put together. So thank you so much for your time and great instruction.
So nice & not as complicated as it looks. It reminds me of Christmas crackers that I made using the envelope punch board only with a nice box lid closure
Sam amazing project explained so well in details ,Sam you always make the impossible into a possible fantastic project there is nothing you cannot do ,these boxes are great for any gifts Theo wants to make them this weekend we use the computer so that we can stop each stage Of the making ,since lock down we have made most of your cards past and present for Christmas but today we do the box in the same colour as you have god bless you Sam take care and be safe blessing xxxx
What great boxes these are. Never seen them before. Fab tutorial and easy to follow instructions. You make this project to easy to achieve and not IMPOSSIBLE!! 😂 thanks as always xx
Love these Sam ! A set in the different sizes would be god to do, great for gifts. Have always liked these boxes, think I made one once. Am tempted to make them soon now, thanks for sharing them.
Hi Sam. I just want to say thank you for your inspiration. I really enjoyed watching and making your creations. You introduced me to the scoring board and it changed my life! Thank you. 💐
This is far and away the clearest tutorial I have seen on the impossible box-and in more than one size! Thank you for always generosity sharing your creativity with us-you are the best! Stay safe and healthy!
The main challenge is going to be finding presents to fit!!! I'm thinking pot pourri which could be kept on display in the box & opened as needed for a longer lasting present. Looking forward to making some of these :)
Very good tutorial I had tried to do this last year it kind of work but they’re not so I’m gonna try it again thank you for sharing this and I love the pattern paper have a wonderful day🌞😃
Great tutorial Sam. I have some questions. When you cut up the score lines for the triangles. Do you cut it so that the score line cuts completely away, or is it right down the middle of the score line? What is the white glue that you use, and what are the bottles you use? I have some of those little bottles that have the pin in the top, and I find it hard to get the thicker glue out.
Excuse me for asking, but when you close the box, do the fold down bits of the lid mechanisim take up space in the box or lie flat to the walls of the box? Does that make sense? Tfs.
Hello . I always say to any one who wants to change the way I make something, to give it a go and if it works to share it on the group for others to see. 😊

Any chance of getting the measurements in centimers too in the future? I really struggle with inches.
I'm so sorry but I don't work in cm, however there are many converter's you can use online, you you can get the cm measurements that way 😀
@@MixedUpCraft Thanks for taking the time to reply. .
Hi Sam, what a brilliant video 😀 could I ask what glue you were using please, and could I ask where the giraffe papers are from. Thanks! x

Excuse me for asking, but when you close the box, do the fold down bits of the lid mechanisim take up space in the box or lie flat to the walls of the box? Does that make sense? Tfs.
Hi Miranda, they lie flat on the top of the box. 😁
Duh!! of course they do. Thanks for the clarification.
Have you considered creating a Mixed Up Craft subscription set? I'd totally subscribe to that.
Hi Cassie, I actually have a Papercraft Society kit coming out in July, I shared it yesterday on my Facebook page 😀
Sam, do you think four Tunnock’s will fit in the green box? I can see all of the MUCers using that box for those! 😂
puede hacer una caja imposible con base haxagonal?
