I already knew about the rule of 12ths but didn't realise it could be used for depth as well.
I’m new to this channel. And nautical navigation in general. Great content. I’m rowing across the Atlantic this December for charity and have been training in Portland/Weymouth where the tides when rowing really influence what you can and cannot do.. With this rule, is it safe to assume that the tide will be stronger at those times when 3 blocks are represented?
