VERY THAT IS A FOREVER DOG & MOGULS OF MEDIA (M.O.M.) PODCAST
foreverdogpodc...
Raja is the queen of asking Delta a question but answering it first ❤️
You should hear tracy and katya
@@TravioliRavioli who?
Such a powerful and important conversation y’all discussed about the colorism in our communities. So many people project their internalized issues from their own experiences and view that as being the only valid experience over another’s when we all have our own unique experiences that are also just as valid. Love you both soo much and appreciate your honesty in every podcast. 💜💜💜
This intro stays in my head for days
Excellent discussion on cultures!!
Delta: 🙌🏼 Amen to following CDC guidelines!! Wish more would!
Raja: Sweet potato pie! 🙌🏼That’s truly all I eat every Thanksgiving. One pie. All day.
Raja's look is absolutely the love child of Raven and CoCo Peru.
Wish it was longer but such an important conversation to have especially for people that are mixed race/ethnicity like myself. Truly very empowering perspective from you both!
When Delta said "crossing the lines between Health and Sexuality", baby I was cackling!! I'm commenting before I've even finished the episode but Mary, my spirits are being lifted! Love you Aunties Xx
I have really enjoyed their podcast. I’m a good bit older then them, but it’s so refreshing to hear about drag from queens who are mature. No, that’s not a read, because I’m old as hell. LOL I look forward to Mondays so I can hear Raja and Delta reminisce or just discuss anything. PS I’m from GA and “Bless her heart” is still a thing and neither of these queens should have to tolerate anyone patronizing them!
I know what you mean, I am younger than them, but I'm more on the quieter side and introvert. I sometimes enjoy high energy podcasts or videos, but I don't want people screaming in my ear the whole time.
As a latino myslef Delta is 100% about how latinos can be.
Azul 💚 show pride for your multi cultural background and teach your nieces and nephews and adopted young people to love, respect and embrace your and other as LATINOS. We need to stop this self hate at its roots. Juntos somos mas.
Delta you are so right, it’s allll about the side dishes on thanksgiving
Give me a plate with mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese. I’m happy. Lol
oh god this WAS SO FAST?!!! i need 2 hour long mawma!! ugh so good. thank you
best podcast of the century. like 2020 saved.
Honestly this podcast always brightens my week
These two make My Mondays ❤️❤️
I see people say all the time about Drag Race ‘maybe this year we can have our first Asian winner’ like... Raja exists. But people don’t consider her to be Asian because she has darker skin and it sucks
That season also had an asian runner up (who I think is PROBABLY the most talented person ever to be on drag race without having won). And since then there's only been two asian people to even make it to the top 3. (Kimchi & Jaremi aka. Phi Phi) And only one asian person since Kim Chi has broken the top 10 (Plastique).
I dunno what to attribute it to, but it's really... concerning to see pretty much every asian contestant go home first or second for the last 5 years.
EDIT: Oh shoot, not counting All Stars of course. Juju obviously did very well in AS5.
@@Aldrius Yeah I feel like it's a mixture of things. People like Rock M Sakura they just didn't seem to like from the start, but others like Yuhua, Kimora and Kahmora maybe wouldn't have made it to the end anyway and were cast as filler. They may be casting Asian queens based on filling a quota rather than picking people who have a clear shot at winning.
This always has irked me! I just heard someone else called “first asian winner” (maybe priyanka? & they weren’t meaning just canada dr) and I was internally screaming.
i will never get tired of you both ad neither of that increideble intro. we are happy to have you on puerto vallata miss raja
I had no idea that Delta was Latinx. I'm half Mexican, my dad is from Veracruz. He never bothered to teach/talk to me in Spanish when I was growing up. He decided to start when I was 9 years old and I just looked at him like wtf are you saying. And my dad just assumed that I'd learn Spanish by osmosis or something haha. But at that age I wasn't really concerned about learning Spanish because none of my friends spoke it, all my schooling is in English, my family around me only speak English... and my dad kind of got it stuck in his mind that I just hated Spanish. But I don't have a connection to that culture, and I've been asked by cousins why I don't speak Spanish. Like..... IT AINT MY FAULT! I guess I got back at my dad by majoring in Korean in university haha! He wasn't too happy about that. But it is a goal of mine to learn Spanish and spend a year in a Spanish-speaking country.
This is the content I signed for. Thank you for having this discussion ! Love you both ❤
The discussion on cultural identity was really thought provoking, and made me wonder what VP elect Harris's experience has been.
Totally. Yes.
This is such a good channel !! I am going on 70 in May of 2021, and being called Sis , or any other term is okay if it's done by a peer ! By peer I mean someone of my age range, unless they are my Sister !! It makes my blood boil when I'm called " grandma" particularly when I am Not a grand mother !! Many young people do this today, and I take it as a form of ageism !! Also the tone of voice and the way things are said can come across very smarmy !! Many times people will use the term " Dear" I do this all the time, and have been called on it , so I myself really have to check myself .. I am trans, and have been in my city for life . So I'm pretty well known, by people of my age, from either school days or work, and I am treated as a mature Lady, as I should be !! You, two could call me what ever You want !! I look to the both of You as a couple of the more educated of the Drag Race girls !! I Luv Ya !!
Every episode has a Delta glamorous lip moment that takes my breath away
I miss Very That so much. I'd love another ep of Very Delta with Raja
You all just need to describe food more often! I love it!
My favorite Delta word: Aficionado
Great, just Great! I love you both, and you're both stunning!!!
Delta and Raja: the only two queens who will go from a thought-provoking, passionate and moving dialogue on race, culture and identity in America, to a conversation on foot fetishes and fucking a block of government cheese. Love you iconic queens!
Raja and Delta should be guest judges on Drag Race Mexico
Delta I love that you addressed this subject of being in a Latino/x grey space. I’ve been called not a real Mexican or Pocho forever! It makes me crazy! I love your commentary and insight and always look forward to hearing what you have to say.
Yessssss! Been waitin all dia 😆💗💋 *teeny lil request if possible, could these be just a smidge longer? I know yall are bizzay (it would be so nice tho) 😉💗 love from sacramento 😸
I love you both!! This is the only podcast I need/want in my life.
Latin America is home to every race on Earth. There are asian, black, arab, european, native, creole/mixed people etc. in all the big cities in huge numbers.
Exactly, and all the possible mixes :)
i look forward to mondays (tuesdays in the phils) coz of this so thankyou for all the fun and education today, tias! xoxo
YES thank you for this conversation!
I have never eaten thanksgiving food (I'm from Norway) but I too like the side dishes of meals better than the meat
Loving the shows.
Rajaaaaaa 😍 always beautiful! And delta looking great as normal yassss ladiessss😊❤🌹
Verrrrrry that! 💜💜Happy Thanksgiving to both of u & everyone watching this! 🦃🦃
It's not a complete 'Very That' episode until Raja & Delta read & drag everyone & I live for it every time!
I wish these episodes were longer. I could listen to these two for hours. Best part of waking up on Monday is Raja and Delta!
the matching JM box of perfume next to Delta is a sublime detail
This was very that
This show is Very That.... sis🤭🤭🤭☺
I'm a year or so late... but I love this podcast.
same
This is the first time I see Raja’s feet. I live, haha, Manila said she call them witch hands.
I SOOO MISS RAJA DRAWS YA, any chance that will ever come back. It was Soooo fun, and alike ASMR! Lol
I have botox in my legs to help loosen the muscles in my legs and it stops spasms and pain. I liked your talk about races, I'm half black and half white which is hard, as here in the UK if you're not black enough you're not black and I'm not white enough to be white.
I had to listen/watch this one again. Love u gals
Girl... did I just turn in to the splendid table
I'm going through all the episodes in February 2021 so whenever Puerto Vallarta is brought up , I giggle uncomfortably.
Weirdly enough I’ve seen videos of those medical pedicure and there’s no blood and it looks super satisfying like dermaplaning.
love deltas makeup here 😍😍
I love you guys so much
"Fuck you Maya!" LMFAOOOOO Can you please add a segment called, "Fuck you!" and just roast the shit outta whatever is bugging you? Please and thank you. PS - This podcast is now my absolute favorite.
Damn Maya! I used to buy my shoes from her and thought I was the only one paying out the ass for heels from her.
I am subscribed on another platform. Hi Dipper!!
When delta said if you see someting here you like..with the feet I smiled so big! That was Effin hilarious and so my personality!!! I was cheesing so big
I love this podcast, like I'm backstage getting my life!
I like to use the term DAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHLEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNG.
I just love you guys 😊💖
Delta never had gig at Tempo lol love that hood spot
Ms. Martin was the best, RIP mija!!!
I love very that because its like two best friends with a lot of wisdom just doing a kiki and it's very comfortable
Raja, the word you're looking for is "third culture kid" 23:00
🧡
It’s the nut cheese for me
raja kinda looks like chi chi right here, so beautiful miss her
Biiiitch with the pistachio pudding you better😂😂😂
Love this 💕
Selena did speak fluid spanish and was deeply in touch with her Mexican roots
Lies lies liiees!!! She could sing very well in Spanish but could not speak Spanish
@@javierlopeztapia5588 ua-cam.com/video/GBtd9ZC51Ag/v-deo.html
@@gdrox07 you call that fluently speaking Spanish??
@@javierlopeztapia5588 She is not speaking fluid spanish at all, very little and very Bad.
@@anabel3148 you can also tell she’s just saying practiced lines that could be inserted in a broad way. There was a few questions she didn’t directly address but just said things that you know were practiced
I think people need to understand that when someone shares their culture, their special T, their little traditions (like how to say "see suntheen"), thats a fuxking gift. You better treasure that sh!t, not judge it cuz you dont understand.
Real thanksgiving is in October #Canada
I live in Buenos Aires ,most of the people are white and descended from non-Spanish european immigrants here. I always find that white vs Latino (or black vslatino) dichotomy in US very funny and sometimes offensive..
IWhite is a skin color that suggest a European ancestry. Latino is the place where you were born and your culture, an identity of cultural belonging. We are Latinos as you are Americans, and apart from that we can be of any skin color and origin just like Americans. The big difference is that here there is not so much segregation, we do not care so much about our skin color or genetic origin. So most of us are mixed both genetically (you can see it or not) and spiritually.
@thira lanup maybe in your family a nationality has a negative mean. Boliviano and paraguayo are nationalities, boliviano is bolivian in spanish... And I AM peruvian (peruana) and mixed, I live in Buenos Aires as many other peruvians and bolivians. I have my permanent recidency just because I asked for it. Since the first day, I have had access to free medical attention even without having my Argentine documents. Here there is segregation but it depends on whether you are poor or rich, "educated" or not etc. Here and in Peru I may suffer a little bit of discrimination for being an immigrant (not for skin color) from one or two people, but not segregation. Nothing in comparation with US.... Most of us are grandchildren of people of different nationality and color, we have different colors within the same family. My sister is white-passing, I am not. My nephews would be one identified as Asian and the other as Latino (native) in US.
@thira lanup Latino-white is a false dichotomy because You can be 100 percent white and 100 percent latino. Latino is not a "race".
@thira lanup lol not latino is a latino, US people do not Say what a latino is...A african is a African , and a African américa is a African american..
@thira lanup lol You are so funny.. is a italian a US person with italian ancestry? Lol
come on new episodeeee
Delta you always look gorgeous but WOW do you look beautiful here! I can't get over how piercing and mesmerizing your eyes are.
Guys. One important question for me.
IF I EINT SKIP THE ADDS, Do u guys get the add money yourselves ? Or does it go to the channel and not you at all??
Only people can call me sweetie or baby is the older black lady at the gas station 😅
I commented a year ago, and came back to watch again. What I noticed is neither one of You will reply to comments !! May I ask why ?? Luv Ya !!
fuck. raja in this hair is ETHEREAL
slay slay
I come back for the fuck maya segment 😤
Abc store has kamaina discount which is for locals so they prolly thought you were from kalihi or something
@@Miss.V.M yea they think anyone who isn’t white is local lmao
Ppl are judgmental because they think that is cool or pc. Be open, I say. But then there is that curiosity feeling. Where are you from? That’s a loaded question. Especially in multi cultural societies. I was at a restaurant recently with a fabulous waiter or waitress. I so wanted to know more about he/she. I couldn’t ask. .
As a southern gay man ……..calling a woman of a certin age “honey” or “babe” is a hugeeeeeeee no no …….I remember my first serving job I had a table of 50-60 year old ladies read me the riot act over that
Delta is so beautiful. All the fucking time.
Honestly I am still that girl that will call people hun and sweetie, maybe its a southern thing? Because I'm SO used to people acting that way. It is not condescending at all, its the way its used. Just like bitch nowadays. All dependent on the context and delivery of the word.
To Azul's question though, there are plenty of "white passing" Mexicans in and from Mexico that no one in those communities bats an eyelash at just bc they're so much part of that community, they live there, speak fluent Spanish, etc...It's more that you two are slightly outsiders since you don't speak fluent Spanish, etc...just entrench yourself in that culture more if that's what you want. And I doubt people are actually being malicious about it and more just joking to make conversation.
Medical footcare isn't new. Lol You can go to any homecare agency or clinic & you'll find a Nurse (over 25yrs) to help you.
that "foreveerr" intro never fails to annoy the hell out of me. so obnoxious. Bc I Love Delta and Raja I'll just put up with it
Wow Raja got in drag
Honestly I always thought delta was white. I didn’t know she was Hispanic and her last name is Villarreal
Latino is a culture/nationality, not a "race". We are latinos as You are Americans. On the other hand, we can be white/black/native/mixed as Americans are.. As there are black-white mixed Americans, I AM black-white mixed latina, but I define myself as latina, because we all share a same culture, and "race" and color skin is not important.
@@anabel3148 Thank You for saying this !! I am Irish and Mexican, my color is White, my Culture is mixed !
