Excellent video! This is what a group of hunting camps in NE Michigan have been doing for about 10 years. Results have been very noticeable!

Awesome! Great tips. It’s definitely has been noticeable for our property through the years. Pretty cool to hear about the CO-OP. Doe management has been huge in getting bucks on their feet more and responding to calls

I can relate with being the one holding myself back. I just get too excited at some of the younger bucks to let them pass. I’m ready to take that next step tho this year.

Great hearing from Trevor! I’m curious to know what his best buck scored.

So not doing brown is down leads to more mature deer. What a fucking concept. God I really wish my state would implement an 8 point antler restriction for 3 years.

It sounds simple but I think it’s more of a mindset shift than anything. I don’t know anyone in states with APRs that is unhappy with things.

I both love and hate Bow hunting deer in the U.P. I wouldn't want to be part of a co-op. I like what these guys are doing, but let me tell you something, in the U.P. public Hunting is the way to Hunt Big Bucks, but they're few & far between. It's a real challenge because even if you find one, you have to pattern him while not letting the masses pattern you. Plenty of public who barely qualify as Humans, and for sure don't qualify as experienced Hunters, watch where Hunters park, follow their trails, damage & steal trail cameras, tree stands, run atv's on the trails at prime times. If you get past all that and you're in the Game, You're not Hunting a Higgins Giant munching beans on the field edge 30 minutes before dark!! You're Hunting an Antlered commando on his own ground who's walked past a thousand hunters like you trying to kill him since he had spikes. He's not all Nocturnal, angled trail cameras in all the right places months early will tell you that, but He didn't get big by being stupid.
