Uganda and DR Congo join forces to fight a common enemy

- Nearly 2,000 Ugandan soldiers have crossed into the Democratic Republic of the Congo to fight alongside troops there.
The move is part of a joint operation against an armed group, the Allied Democratic Forces, which operates along the border of both countries and has been blamed for dozens of attacks.
Al Jazeera's @Katia Lopez-Hodoyan reports.

Uganda and Rwanda sponsored and armed the rebels in that region. The aim is to divide that part of Congo which is mineral high. M23 rebels are children of these two countries and as far as them fighting terrorists, it’s all a joke as they are the ones who created this. Secondly Uganda is even constructing roads from the mineral infested areas to Uganda in order to easily transport the countries mineral. It’s not about terrorists people. I am all for peace and one Africa but let’s not be blind. Also UN has play a major role in aiding this. When I was young I saw a unicef lorry 🚛 flip and it as meant to be bringing food for Rwandan refugees yet it had guns underneath. We tried to get the food as kids and the UN soldiers would chase us away.

Our neighbors unfortunately according their history have a tremendously genocide past and also illegally invaded Congo is apparently in search of those who committed these genocide. AL Jazeera, you rarely pay any attention to what's happening inside Uganda especially the oppression of the opposition and the endless killings taking place in the country leave alone massive corruption.
But once a few soldiers crossed to Congo, you have made it a daily song, which makes me especially think you were just paid to report on this.
