My son is out mowing our combined properties ahead of an expected thunderstorms right now.. The yards all looks so nice when it’s mowed.. I love the smell of fresh cut grass too..
It seems it's neverending!! We know. We live on over five acres and bought another property with over ten acres. Summer cutting is constant. Our tiny house is on hold right now. I was slinging concrete cinder blocks like I'm 20 years old and I'm 63. Now I have a hernia and might need surgery. Be careful out there it only takes a second to get overheated and hurt yourself. You guys are fabulous 🤩🤩🤩
Know what you mean! I am 71, have had both knees replaced, 12 spinal surgeries, CHF with pacemaker defibrillator, kidney failure! When you loose your body and can’t do anything, you understand what it means to take care of your body! I potted 2 plants and planted 3 more today in 80 degree weather. Took me 3 hours plus and now I am going to be down for the next 4-5 days to recover! Best of luck with your surgery!
@@50spirithealer I'm 48 & keep trying to tell my children & nieces & nephew about being respectful of their body now because that’s the only one we'll ever have. I've had multiple orthopedic surgeries between the ages of 15 to 32, was in gymnastics as a child & teen, always done labor work around the house & building our business the first few years then working in the medical field having to lift patients that are dead weight & being in 2 bad car wrecks in my 20's... it's all taken a toll on my body & it's really telling on itself the last few years. I have severe arthritis in my spine, shoulders, knees, hands & neck. Some days I can't stand no longer than 15 minutes at a time. It's so frustrating & depressing because in my mind I want to do so much but my body says "no, not today"! These young people think they're invincible & will have their health & live forever. I thought the same way at their age. I hope you have better days ahead & can enjoy life without so much pain. Have a blessed day.
Love all the green grass around there. It looks so nice. Danielle is going to love it when she gets back. You three seem to get so much done together. Take it easy Jason in the heat and all of you. Congratulations on the 2 million views. I wish they all would subscribe. They just don't know what they are missing. Love you all.
You need to pick your areas of control for mowing. Get rid of that out of control feeling. As a pro mower being organized will help. Some 1 time a year some 2 times a month! Make a map for art fun! Dawns here ☀️
Just a thought. If the foam sheets are cut to the same size. Take the foam into a cool shady place and cut a bunch at a time. Then you can place that bunch of foam at a time. Just pile the cut foam pieces in the headquarters until you need it.
That’s what I suggested to them yesterday. Just cut it all to size up under the canopy where it’s cooler and they can stand up. Plus they’re not all bent over cutting one piece out at a time out in the sun. Then when their all finished just pop them all in.
@@paige6028 guys, Jason measures each individual space before he cuts the foam, I'm sure the spaces vary slightly with each one, differences in the thickness of the boards can make a difference in the space between them.
Congratulations on the huge milestone! You work so hard and you deserve the accolades! The tiny house will be awesome and I know you and Danielle will be happy there. The house will be built with the love for building, love for the land and the unending love for each other. Take care you three. Love you all! Blessings
You guys have your land looking good! I’m glad that you care about your land and that you take care of it. I wish the best for Jason, Jared and Danielle. Your land will look awesome when you’re finally finished.
🎉 on the 2million! Yes! Great team work. It looks awesome. Y'all 3 are doing a wonderful job on the ranch. It's all coming together. Y'all be safe out n the heat. Much love from NC 🥰
Hey Jason, this might help in regards to the sun shade. We lower the 4 corner legs when not in use to help prevent the wind from beating it up and we also cover it with a cheapo Harbor Freight tarp we stake down for rain purposes.. I have had mine going on 3 years now (and it is also a Walmart cheapy), pretty sure it is due to lowering it and covering it. Might also help from keeping the rain off the equipment and supplies once lowered... Hope this is helpful!! Keep calm and Shootdang on!
Totally agree with y’all. I had one that I left up and a bad rain and storm came up and the rain literally filled the whole top up. Then I finally got all the water off and it left the top dropping down and then a bad wind came up one day and it literally blew it up and flipped it over and bent it all up. So it was useless after that. Lol. So it’s worth it to take just a few minutes to do what y’all do to protect it so it last a lot longer. That’s definitely a good idea.
Wow! Jason, Danielle & Jared all that rain and nice Spring weather really made things grow. So cool how you all work together and share work at Shoot Dang Ranch. I love Jared's part of the property. The tractor was the best investment so far. A backhoe would be helpful. Perhaps a tarp tied to trees or wood would hold up to wind. Sometimes you can't trust Walmart or Harbor Freight. Drink plenty of water, use sunscreen and check for ticks on your body where the sun don't shine. This property i think is better then the Crocker Ranch in Texas as far as prediters go. We have finally reached the 70s here at the Connecticut seashore. Shoot Dang Blessings...
the next time you see someone cutting hay stop and see if they would be interested in cutting your grass for the free hay. That would save you all a lot of time and money. They might even pay you -- they do this all the time here in Southwest Missouri (cattle country).
Mega Dancing Congo Rats on the 2 million views bud. That's awesome 👍 💯 😎 Hey, if you gonna take Danielle's place, ya need a blonde wig and pink heart glasses 😂 Yep, drill out the rivet and a screw and nut and good as new. You still got more patience than I would with that foam lol Hope Jared gets things sorted out. God bless you all and keep you safe
Using the pool noodles on the canopy will make it stronger to weather. The rivets from that plastic piece could be replaced with bolts if the plastic didn't break. Ive have had to do that very thing on my last one. Congrats again brother on the 2M views. Our goal is still to get moved this summer and then work full time on our channel to get monitized.
Oh man, before working out in the summer sun, you need to soak your shirt in the ice chest water like Danielle did. That was genius! An inspiration for all of us who work outside this hot summer!
The grass looks much better . Stay hydrated. I have to turn the sound down when you put the Styrofoam in the noise it makes. Dirty dog funny . Congratulations Jason that's great 😊❤️✌🏻
I’m going to keep visualizing cattle & horses on your hay meadows!!! The day will come!! First things first- the houses! I hope you & Jared were able to cement the posts in. Jared has needed a boost to feel productive & have content for a vlog! Danielle does an excellent job with this channel since she learned from a pro!! Love all your channels! 💜
Good that all clippings don't go to waste. Pigs and goats can feed off all that roughage and you save on store-bought which has went to astronomical prices
Go to the Dollar Store and get 4 to 6 pool noodles. Put a noodle in each corner and two in the center like an X . That will keep the rain from puddling on the canopy. An inexpensive way to prevent future damage. Like you said it is just a cheap pop rivet. ( Festival participants tip- zip ties, they fix a world of problems just like duct tape.)
Ya'll are killin it out there, really getting the property looking good. I'm not sure if all 60 acres has to be a manicured lawn look though, definitely a big bite to chew on if you do. Establish areas to mow regularly, put up some deer or hog blinds, let some grow wild to hunt. If you kill yourselves maintaining the property, what have you accomplished? Love ya'll ❤️

With all the rain, grass just shoots up. Yes, it’s a full time job on farms, ranches with property. Looks great after mowed. Our lawn care always mows the first 2-3 times low to cut all the weeds down before they seed. You look tired too Jason. Great news on your rating…
LOL "LIL" Daisy Mae reminds me of my parent's lab Buddy... they could NOT keep him out of water!! LOL And she looks so proud of herself as well! I am enjoying playing catch up on your progress. Side note, we had a pop up gazebo do the very same thing to us! Ours is now held together by a piece of wood as a "temp fix". I had also seen that if you arch pool noodles under the top over the corners, it's supposed to bulk up the top for rain to slide off. We haven't tried it yet, but will keep you posted LOL
Everything looks great 👍🏻. My husband mowed our acre lawn today. He worked hard in the yard. Atleast we had a cool down today while he did it. Stay cool and drink lots water. Yert 🤟
