The death of Bhishma, Abhimanyu and Karna is very sad in each series of Mahabharata. Bhishma sacrificed his rights to become the king and gave it to his younger brothers. Bhishma showed us that we should be ready to sacrifice anything for our family. Abhimanyu fought bravely and courageously on the 13th day of Kurukshetra and showed us that we should be brave and courageous in every situation. Karna became insulted in the society as the son of a charioteer but he didn’t gave up and tried hard to showcase his strength, valour and power but the mistake he did was he supported the wrong side. He taught us to be on the right side. Three great evergreen warriors.

This story has made us feel sorry for Karn in the end. And yes, karn deserved mother's love and royal pleasure for which he was insulted as he was raised by lower caste.
But I think we need to cherish every character equally. Krishna reflects that loyal friend who is always their in our hard times.
Bhim symbolizes strength and Arjun stands for charismatic and highly talented man. Yuddhisthr is more like Lord Rama who always stuck to his duty. Duryodhana symbolizes greed and all other evil nature in us.

Karna was called sootputra.
Who were the soots?
Soot= the offsprings of mixed of two Varna a kshatriya father+ a Brahmin mother .
What were the duties of a soot?
Soot did three things
1.kathavachak ( Even the present day available Mahabharata, ramayan, puranas all are told by a Rishi called soot ji, this Rishi too was a soot, worked as a kathavachaak.)

Mhaabhart कौरव और पांडवों का युद्ध था , इसमें कर्ण कौरवों की तरफ से युद्ध कर रहा था न की खुद के लिए, कर्ण नही मरता तो कौरवों की जीत होती , कौरव अधर्मी थे और महाभारत धर्म और न्याय की जीत थी। पितामह , धृतराष्ट इन सबने द्रोपदी का वस्त्र हरण का विरोध नही किया क्योंकि ये राष्ट्र के प्रति कर्तव्य मे bdhe थे फिर वो राष्ट्र स्त्री का अपमान ही क्यों न करे लेकिन कर्तव्य को सामने रख कर हर किसी ने गलत देखना सही समझा।महाभारत मे हर एक किरदार किसी न किसी सीख के लिए है हर किसी से सीखने को मिलता है कुछ , न की ये बताने को कौन धोखे से मरा , मारा या किसने छल किया , kiske sth छल हुआ।
कर्ण मित्रता के लिए महान है क्योंकि उसे पता था कि उसका मित्र अधर्म पर है लेकिन उसने उसका साथ नही छोड़ा अपने जान की परवाह किये बिना , उसे ये भी पता था कि वो भी मरेगा क्योंकि वो अधर्म का साथ दे रहा है। महाभारत कौरव ar पांडवो का युद्ध था धर्म अधर्म , न्याय और अन्याय के लिए , जिसके लिए महाभारत बनी है उसे समझो न की किसी एक को गलत और किसी एक को गलत बोल कर मत समझो

I watched this movie twice, I think I will watch it a third time, Thank you for sharing this movie, I am learning about yoga and this movie was a great way to truly understand how things happened. I was looking forward to purchasing a book but I won't have to do that anymore. This happened in my family, ppl just feeling jealous and finding ways to keep my family away. I deeply relate with this poem... Being on the good side feels good, being good feels good and having our Lords or Gods supporting us, feeling that support feels good. Out with the bad, in with the good.

Some part of the story that you need to know before watching the movie (for Beginners) -
Who is Bheesm - Shantanu, the king of Hastinapur, was married to Ganga with whom he had a son called Devavrat. Several years later, when Devavrat had grown up to be an accomplished prince, Shantanu fell in love with Satyavati. Her father refused to let her marry the king unless the king promised that Satyavati's son and descendants would inherit the throne. Unwilling to deny Devavrat his rights, Shantanu declined to do so but the prince, on coming to know of the matter, rode over to Satyavati's house, vowed to renounce the throne and to remain celibate throughout his life. The prince then took Satyavati home to the palace so that the king, his father, could marry her. On account of the terrible vow that he'd taken that day, Devavrat came to be known as Bheeshm.
In time, Shantanu and Satyavati had two sons. Soon thereafter, Shantanu died. Satyavati's sons still being minors, the affairs of the kingdom were managed by Bheeshm and Satyavati. By the time these sons reached adulthood, the elder one had died in a skirmish with some gandharvas (heavenly beings) so the younger son, Vichitravirya, was enthroned. Bheeshm then abducted the three princesses of a neighbouring kingdom and brought them over to Hastinapur to be wedded to Vichitravirya. The eldest of these princesses declared that she was in love with someone else, so she was let go; the two other princesses were married to Vichitravirya who died soon afterwards, childless.
Who is Dhritarashtra, Pandu and Vidur --- So that the family line did not die out, Satyavati summoned her son Vyasa to impregnate the two queens. Vyasa had been born to Satyavati of a great sage named Parashar before her marriage to Shantanu. According to the laws of the day, a child born to an unwed mother was taken to be a step-child of the mother's husband; by that token, Vyasa could be considered Shantanu's son and could be used to perpetuate the Kuru clan that ruled Hastinapur. Thus, by the Niyog custom, the two queens each had a son of Vyasa: to the elder queen was born a blind son called Dhritarashtra, and to the younger was born an otherwise healthy but extremely pale son called Pandu. To a maid of these queens was born a son of Vyasa called Vidur. Bheeshm brought up these three boys with great care. Dhritarashtra grew up to be the strongest of all princes in the country, Pandu was extremely skilled in warfare and archery, and Vidur knew all the branches of learning, politics, and statesmanship.
With the boys grown, it was now time to fill up the empty throne of Hastinapur. Dhritarashtra, the eldest, was bypassed because the laws barred a disabled person from being king. Pandu, instead, was crowned. Bheeshm negotiated Dhritarashtra's marriage with Gandhari, and Pandu's with Kunti and Madri.
Sons of Pandu and Kunti - Yudhishthir, Arjuna and Bheem & Pandu and Madri - Nakul & Sahadev. Pandu and Madri died lately after that.
