Hi! I am wanting a pair of LaDucas, but I unfortunately live on the West Coast and can’t make it to NYC to get a pair sized.. I know I am typically a 6/6.5 or 37 in shoes... they recommend buying in person your first pair but do you have any recommendations for sizing and buying online?
You can double check with them but I am pretty sure they run pretty true to a standard shoe size. They will stretch. If you have any questions I would ask an associate from LaDuca because I am not an expert on sizing. I always buy my standard shoe size
Hi, Emily! Thank you for your super helpful videos. I've been a dancer for about 20 years, classically trained in Ballet, and have transitioned to a musical theatre performer. I've been wearing my 2.5 Alexis LaDucas forever and I'm ready to get a new pair. I'm thinking about getting the 3 inch to increase the length of my legs/lines, but I'm nervous about making the change. Do you notice a big difference between the 2.5 and 3 inch heels?
Hi Kayleigh! I would say if you have been dancing in the 2.5 inch for a while you will be okay to move up to the 3 inch! It will not feel like much of a difference once you get use to walking around in them!
The Leanne LaDuca shoe-I ordered mine at this year’s LaDuca LaSale 2021. The name is pronounced Lee-ann as in Leann Rimes. The Leanne LaDuca shoe honors Leanne Cope, the star of the Broadway musical, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (2017).
Emily, you are awesome! I love your tap dancing! Your Video! And of course, your shoes! I want them all!! Thanks for showing us and giving advice. Do you have a video on how to paint them like you did? As well as the rhinestones? For a beginner tapper, what shoes to you recommend to buy first and then 2nd, 3rd , etc? I live in Minnesota and will only be able to order online. I ❤️ you ! 💃
Hi ! Thank you for your sweet comment. I painted my shoes with a basic leather fabric paint and a small paint brush that way I could be precise with the painting. I also used painters tape to cover the parts of the shoe that I didn't wan to paint. You can order rhinestones from amazon and use fabric glue or superglue to glue them on. In terms of a first shoe - if you are looking for a high heel tap shoe I would recommend the Roxie Laduca Tap shoe. For a flat tap shoe you can look into Bloch or Capezio. They have less expensive versions that are good for a first tap shoe
@@EmilyJeanne awesome 👌you can watch my Grammy tap dancing. Gives me something to do I'm going on 70. I love your tap shoes. Your so fortunate. Awesomeness 👌
Hi! That is so exciting! Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure they are true to size. I would call the store and talk to a sales associate to confirm the sizing before you purchase anything online!
I hope you know you’re living my shoe dream

Hi!
Could I request a video on audition looks for mt dance auditions?
Yes absolutely!
Dürfte ich mal als Schuhunterlage dienen?
Amazing collection, you look very attractive in the boots.
Do you wear socks with the boots?? Or just barefoot if dancing with leggings?? Or do you use tights?
I sometimes do any of the three. Most of the time I'll wear socks. Unless my feet are swollen then I will wear them without anything.
You can do a toe tapping in your regular heel shoes.
Can u point your toes with the rubbered shoes
Yes!
