What a fascinating way to weave! That looks like the weaver must have a lot of strength in her upper arms, shoulders and back because she is beating upward against gravity. I noticed that the weaver does not beat the weft into place until the shed is closed. I am guessing the weft might fall out of place if the shed is open due to gravity and the vertical nature of the warp?

Amazing demonstration
Arachne
THAT takes tremendous patience.
super
i believe the ancient people knew a faster way to do this, unlike this lady who takes 5 minutes to tap and set a single fibre.
