People need to understand the differences between the cultures here. Koreans are very touchy and comfortable around close friends. Actually... Taekook is the most loved ship. They have the most followers even in SK. (just look up Taekook on the YT search engine and count how many followers some of the largest accounts have) It's just a few haters who are very loud, annoying and seem to get a lot of attention because of it.

Personally, I'm not sure what to think. Yes, BTS have been together for years so they have an extremely strong bond with each other, which is normal. However, I still notice that V and JK are both different and have always had something that makes their relationship different. Moments of jealousy towards each other sometimes, words and actions that are confusing and that lead to wonder if they are really just "friends" or even brothers. In addition, in many Vlive that JK has made, he has often had comments for example "JK if Taekook is real touch your nose" or other things like that that JK did... Think about it (no hate) jikook is a really popular ship as well, i've seen a lot of videos on them to just see the difference, and I can say that those 2 are really touchy cos obviously Jimin is a touchy and flirty person, to me jimin and jungkook are so cute and funny together and i love the friendship. But with Taekook, they barely get touchy only recently they have been, but these days I watch their body language cos skinship is one thing, but body language is something completely different. You can control your skin ship with someone, if someone tells you to get touchy with someone you will do it. But body language is something else, something you cannot control, it happens when you don't realize it and body language is what Taekook uses a lot. Some of their body language they can control but other things you can't, for example sexual tension. You cannot control how your body responds to sexual tension. So any new taekookers, focus more on body language rather than skinship. Also in bts in the soop, Taekook's 'date' it seemed off, idk if anyone agrees but, the whole thing felt scripted, believe me it was cute, but what they were saying, sounded a lil bit weird as if they were acting. It's so hard being a taekooker these days because Taekook is literally hated so much, my opinion is leave it alone, if one day taekook comes out as dating then we can laugh in their face because they can't hate us for shipping the wrong ship. I think Jungkook appreciates and loves Tae a lot because he was one of the people who made him what he is today, Jungkook said that Tae helped him stop being so shy and be more outgoing , and they have fun together and are like best friends, they both support and care for each other, however I don't see them as a couple, they appreciate and love each other but not romantically.

This video helped me a lot. I write a Taekook fanfic, and I was some minutes crying when I found out about Taehyung’s comment to army, I thought he meant that our shipp is ridiculous. I posted a author note saying I would think about that and maybe I’d change the subject of the book from romance to friendship, or delete the entire book. This helped me a lot, and I think I will continue writing the book. Obviously, respecting Taehyung and Jungkook’s actual relationship ofc.

Honestly I dislike shipping any BTS members. Not just BTS but any idols. To those of you who are saying "I get shipped with my friend but that doesn't make me uncomfortable" well good for you. That's how you feel, but we don't know that about BTS members right. If and only if we believe whatever Jungkook was saying in the Soop is true , then don't you think jungkook have to discuss this with V, a long time before discussing this with the whole world. You both are same team mates and close friends and you don't have time to discuss this small "awkward" whatever you feel thing with him. If something really serious going on , You can make 5 minutes of time to discuss this over phone and that will be so much easy rather than discussing this in front of camera so that whole world witness that you are awkward with each other. Honestly this whole “shipping is ruining their friendship” thing is so dull. Me and my best friend started getting shipped like not even 2 years into our friendship jus bc we were so comfortable around each other and the shipping literally didn’t affect us at all. People still think that we’re a couple and we both think it’s hilarious if anything so as long as the people who gets shipped are fine with it then why say that it’s ruining their friendship? I mean Tae and kook literally uses their ship name themselves and I think that they would’ve came clean about their feelings if they didn’t like it. Jin came clean about not wanting to be called pink princess and other members have done the same too so I personally feel like they would’ve outed that they feel uncomfortable with shipping if that’s the case. Yes shipping is a big part of the industry but I still feel like they would stop using their ship name, not many ships uses their own ship names regularly so it’s not something that they’re obligated to do.

I’m speaking from personal experience and from what I know about the culture. Personally, I'm not sure what to think. Yes, BTS have been together for years so they have an extremely strong bond with each other, which is normal. However, I still notice that V and JK are both different and have always had something that makes their relationship different. Moments of jealousy towards each other sometimes, words and actions that are confusing and that lead to wonder if they are really just "friends" or even brothers. In addition, in many Vlive that JK has made, he has often had comments for example "JK if Taekook is real touch your nose" or other things like that that JK did... I do not understand too much because sometimes they may want to "avoid" the ships but other times, in their behavior they show the opposite ... Think about it (no hate) jikook is a really popular ship as well, i've seen a lot of videos on them to just see the difference, and I can say that those 2 are really touchy cos obviously Jimin is a touchy and flirty person, to me jimin and jungkook are so cute and funny together and i love the friendship. But with Taekook, they barely get touchy only recently they have been, but these days I watch their body language cos skinship is one thing, but body language is something completely different. You can control your skin ship with someone, if someone tells you to get touchy with someone you will do it. But body language is something else, something you cannot control, it happens when you don't realize it and body language is what Taekook uses a lot. Some of their body language they can control but other things you can't, for example sexual tension. You cannot control how your body responds to sexual tension. So any new taekookers, focus more on body language rather than skinship.
Also in bts in the soop, Taekook's 'date' it seemed off, idk if anyone agrees but, the whole thing felt scripted, believe me it was cute, but what they were saying, sounded a lil bit weird as if they were acting.
It's so hard being a taekooker these days because Taekook is literally hated so much, my opinion is leave it alone, if one day taekook comes out as dating then we can laugh in their face because they can't hate us for shipping the wrong ship. Nobody gets to decide what the "normal" for friends is. There is NO normal for friends. All friends show their affection for eachother differently. Every set of friends has a unique bond that other friend groups may not understand.

Yes shipping is a big part of the industry but I still feel like they would stop using their ship name, not many ships uses their own ship names regularly so it’s not something that they’re obligated to do.

its not a ship name. its so common in korean culture to put two names together as FRIENDS. there are so many idols who put their names together(eg; wosan) because its convenient and NORMAL. its so gross how people want to sexualize and romanticize every little thing. i get that you and your friend are comfortable with that but not every friendship is like that. like i said; they use the "ship" names because its casual and normal in korea and not romantic at all. i hate when y'all "taekookers" say "omg they use their ship name a lot they must love it🥺🥺" because y'all dont understand DIFFERENT CULTURES and how people in different places use things differently.
