Very saddened by the news that Mr Swoope passed away January 6, 2022. Truly enjoyed his posts on many “forgotten” artists. Prayers and condolences to the family 🙏🏽

This is unbelievable. I can't wrap my mind around this. My heart is broken! R.I.P. Terry Swoope I remember when I requested for him to do a video on Curtis Hairston & when he finally did it, I was so excited. My smile was wide & it really made my day because for the first time someone took my request into consideration & I felt heard & important. Almost every comment I made under his video he gave me support & responded. I am crying right now. I just cannot believe he is gone. I was wondering what was taking him so long to post again I would check up on his channel from time to time & to hear that he passed away is very devastating. My heart is hurting. 💔 My prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends.

He passed away earlier this month. I think it was covid. But I believe his brother is moving forward with the channel based on the notes that terry left with him. He wanted his channel to continue on.

@@nikkirockznikkirockz8551 about a month ago. I noticed that he hasn’t posted in a long time. I found his Facebook page and his last post said that he had covid and his symptoms were pretty severe. I checked back on the page a couple of weeks later and his brother had posted an obituary for him. I don’t have a link, but I believe his Facebook profile is in the description of almost all of his videos.
We are just trying to keep his legacy going from his notes and research... Thanks for the love you have shown my brother.
