The meeting of Khidr a.s and Musa a.s has a very deep meaning how twoo worlds interact with each other. Thats why its mentioned in the surah kahf were 2 seas meet meaning where 2 knowledge meets (the world we live in and the world behind the veil) 1)The world we live: How to organize society that we live in according Gods laws 2)The spiritual world behind the veil: Knowledge or information about events that have to happen and divine intervantion to change the events according Gods plans (Destiny) Musa a.s was confused because acts that khidr was performing they didnt corespond with the commendements that he recived from God. The explanation given by Dr. Israr Ahmed and Maulana Imran Nazar Hussein made real sense and was nearest to the truth in which it has been explained in Surah Kahf from the Noble Quran. But i am really surprised the way Tahir Ul Qadri misinterpreted and duped his listeners by adding Khidr (A.S.) to be a wali like we have in recent times in every nook and corner especially of Pakistan and India who are revered more than Allah and his messenger....Astagfirullah. There is no comparison to the prophet's status who are most nearest in company to Allah. No wali can take their position in any ways..save even the Sahabas, Tabaeen and Tabe Tabaeens who were greater than the walis what we revere today....The uneducated and ignorant muslims are victims of people like Tahir Ul Qadri misinterpretations and deceptions and the likes of him. Khidr (A.S.) even has a prominent place to play during Dajjal's appearance..please refer to hadiths regarding him in Sahih Al Bukhari and Muslim. Allah knows best if he is the prophet of Allah because he and Hazrat Luqman in the Noble Quran has been said to be people endowed with special knowledge and grace from Allah (A.J.)

Can someone please shortly translate for me what Dr. Israr Ahmed said about Khidr? My Urdu is not good enough to understand everything but I really want to understand what he says about him. Jasmin Ha Dr Israr Ahmed's opinion on Khidr is that there is nothing in the Quran which proofs that he was a prophet or a wali. He could have been a soul or an angel in the form of a man or man with loads of knowledge whom Allah give a very long life. But the bottom line is that Allah asked Hazrat Musa A.S to meet one of his man and spend sometime with some him for guidance and to learn from him. Allah know's best. Dr Israr or we can't be sure... He was not a prophet. Hazrat khizar was very good in knowledge. Allah give him a long life
