My god, have you ever used a chainsaw before? It is never cut with the edge of the saw. Always as close to the engine as possible. At 8:13 that's what? Are you trying to mutilate that? Or just destroy the saw?

I´ve just ordered this pruner and watched your video afterwards. The fact that you "install" oil doesn´t bother me, though the way you use the saw hurts my eyes...

I was thinking the same, but then I remembered how good it was even with poor skills.. So I got something out of that test, and glad I just bought it 😅👌

This saw does not spin fast enough in my view and tends to rip the job as a result. I know this as I have got one. I am hoping that you installed the chain the right way around, as there was not much sawdust coming off, and I have had faster results. This is a pruner not a chainsaw for use on a bench, the job should be fixed that means attached to a tree or root. Your job was flapping around which is why it looked awful. All in all a very protracted and rambling video labouring on the obvious especially the chain which you put down, then picked up again. . I also think you should fill the oil to the brim, as a small amount at an angle may not get to the lubrication pickup. The red ring on the chain knob is the adjuster which you did not turn to adjust the tension of the chain just pulling it with your hand. Once done, then you lock it with the black knurled knob.

Should the oil be applied manually to the blade ? The blade is not lubricated even after using over half of the bottle into the reservoir.

Should come out automatically. Can check by filling turning on pole saw for a couple of secs in horizontal position, disconnecting battery and then feeling chain

Thanks for this - saved me a lot of time reading the instructions. Tool works really well for what I need which is fairly light use.
Still have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs :)

This is so embarrassing to watch, he puts the chain on the wrong way round and doesn't know how to use the saw.

    Thanks for your excellent video.
I have used the saw once for circa 20 mins sawing branches off trees.
A couple of lighter branches got stuck behind sprocket cover so I pulled out but then saw wouldn't work.
I unscrewed sprocket cover but black part covering gear sprocket has disappeare?
Can you advise if this part is replaceable and/or what the name of it is?
    Thanks
    Tom

Bought one of these today, enclosed instructions are just awful, especially for such a lethal device with that spinning saw!! Watched this video on how to install the saw chain properly. (It kept slipping when I did it). Many thanks, this is what UA-cam is for...

      Hi,
Just pull red leaver back, slide pole in and close red latch.
One tip is if extending pole and it slides back you may need to tighten latch with Allen key

I bought the exactly the same one. My first cut was pretty’s easy. I was able to cut down a small dead tree quickly (in seconds for each cut) and chopped the 2 inch tree trunk into short pieces. However, my second time was a hell when I used the pruner to cut bush (0.5 to 1.5 inch wet). The saw jammed several times. Although I cleaned, re-assembled and oiled the machine, it did not cut. A 2 inch cut took 20 minutes to finish. Did I do something wrong or the saw teeth need to be sharpened or the pruner stopped working? If possible, please shed some light on it. Thanks. Plus, oil leaked all the time during storage. Wonder how to stop it.

When you cut fresh weed you should always try to clean the blade as the green sap from the tree can coat the teeth off the blade and make it blunt ,get a smale chain saw file and give the teeth a quick sharpen ever time you use it.as for shrubs and tall plants they can be too fibrous for the chain causeing it to jam.its not really ment for that but it is good that you mentioned it as I was looking to use it for that ,now I known what will happen.🙂

Look at your instruction book - there will be an address of how to get one dependent on what country you live in... (Lidl sell them)
