Also wanna say, that hug meant a lot of sense to me. A lot of people think if was too short but I sorta like and have made sense of it. Robert closes his eyes and pulls Aaron close to him (and he may have been the one to sigh during the hug) cause he's been missing him (obviously) , and Aaron keeps it short and sweet cause his top priority is getting up to the farm and checking on Adam. This is understandable, he knows he'll be sharing his bed with Robert later that night, he can hold him and catch up with him then, but following the news of holly's death it makes perfect sense he'll be heading straight up to the farm. Though I obviously would have liked to have seen them holding and supporting one another. Considering Aaron and holly's history, i was expecting to see more of Aaron, but I can live with this ☺️
Of course we would all love a more heartfelt Robron reunion, but I don't think there was anything wrong with their hug, especially considering the circumstances. Imo, it would be inappropriate in the episode to take any more focus away from the situation at stake. Also, I don't get how it can even be compared to Aaron and Adam's hugs. They are completely different situations. Aaron came home to support his best mate after his sister had just died so obviously that was the only thing on his mind when he came to the Woolpack. The Robron hug was just meant to be a quick hello before they went to see Adam. The hugs with Adam weren't just "hello" hugs after not seeing each other for a few weeks, though, but comfort and support in Adam's time of need. Just how it should be imo.
OMG! Finally! I'm reading these comments about how Aarons hug with Adam was more "passionate" & emotional than the Robron hug & I'm sitting here like "Well duh! One hug is 'hi boyfriend, gotta go best mate needs me', & the other is 'omg. I'm so sorry! I'm here for you. I got your back'. I'm glad to see someone else out there gets it

Cain helped tear apart Moira's marriage to James and fortunately Moira and James got back together but their re-connection was too short because of the car accident that killed James. So much time was lost between Moira and James because of Cain's involvement. And now that Cain finally has Moira, he cheats on her. That adage about "once a cheater, always a cheater" seems to hold true for Cain.
Wait! Which one of Moira's daughter's died? Was it Holly or Hannah? Oh man, poor Moira and poor Adam! He loves his sister's and is very protective of them!
So Holly was brought back a few months ago to kill her off. Everybody was talking about how the hell writers wanted Holly back when she never was too well received years ago. Now we have the answer. It is a little bit lame anyway. One more of Kate Oates not so good decisions from last year right before leaving the show as head producer.

Adam saw Cain as his father figure. Cain supported him when he found out about James being his real father and when he got engaged to Victoria Adam sought approval from both Moira and Cain. Some of Adam's pain comes from not having Cain's strength to back him up anymore. But I think Cain loves his stepson and will still be there for him in the future.

Adam was right when it came to Cain here. Cain loved Moira so deeply how can he move on so quick like she and their marriage meant nothing to him.
