Wish I'd known you were here ... and, despite living a couple of stations away for well over a decade, I can't believe I've never heard of Nakano Broadway! I guess it's true what they say about Tokyo - that it's so diverse that people living in the same place for years often have completely different experiences.
Great video! Thanks for the shout out it was fun to catch up in real life. I'm looking forward to the next video to see all the cool things you picked up.
Awesome video, looks like you had a great trip. I was in Japan earlier this year and I had a blast looking at every vintage toy store I could find and they have a lot of them! I collect R2-D2 stuff myself and I found a lot of great stuff including a Kubrick Unbreakable version of R2 on Jabba's Barge serving drinks, a 1978 die cast Takara, and a weird "Space Wars" bootleg knockoff.
I'm 53 and an OG Star Wars fan. I think modern Star Wars needs a vacation. Maybe 5 - 10 years. They need a real plan and higher quality entertainment. Star Wars was meant to be on the big screen. No on Disney+.
Nice photos of your trip. Disney Land Japan, no Star Wars items sounds disappointing. Nice work with the crane games. Those are tough. Too bad they didn't have Star Wars prizes. Nice Star Wars shops. I'll guess one of the Jabba Katana and Skiff Guards as one of the items you bought from the case. Cool video, Thanks.
@@MightyJabbasCollection Most of the time artbooks, magazines, cheap figures, stuff that catches my eye. Most of my order with shipping I keep it around $100, but it can get really expensive if I find something that's been on my radar, usually a figure. I would buy as much stuff from the same shop to reduce multiple shipments, because shipping is expensive.
Japan was probably the best foreign country I've visited, and I've been around the world! My trip was in 2008, long before translation apps and I was completely unprepared to speak Japanese, and it was amazing. I'm a big Macross (think Robotech!) fan, and I definitely scored a lot of goods from that series on my trip there.
Been there and done that. Good luck my friend. Star Wars isn't the hit in east Asia the way it is in the west. Almost nothing. A few pockets yes but very light. No SW branding anywhere in Japan. No chips, scarce toys, and very limited in other memorabilia.
Looks like it was an amazingly fun trip...👌🏼 All this stuff is everything I like to see...🤘🏼💯✔️ I soooooo wish I could visit Japan...💁🏻
It’s cool to see what merchandise they have over there. Very cool!!
Ya gotta go back for the Pokemon plush!
