I can relate to Chris Robert’s mindset. I had a skate career nearly spanning 2 decades. From fakie big heel manuals to back lipping 10 stairs, I would say I had a great run and am happy to have all the footage and memories. I hurt my knee and never came back the same since. I’m more of a dude that hops on it now to ride to the store with my dog. Chris Robert’s did his time and you could tell he still loves skateboarding and he definitely knows his skate history. Respect brother, fuck all of the haters keep doing you.
Seeing Ronnie Creager's switch ollie over a fire hydrant in Menikmati got me into skating. I was skate curious before that, but I was all in the moment I saw that. It was like a switch flipped in my brain. It was the coolest, most amazing thing I'd ever seen in my life. I obviously didn't even know it was switch. His part really blew my mind; that tech stuff was so different from what the other guys in that video were doing, just seemed so creative and fun. If I recall correctly, some folks at eS were hassling him for not doing crazy stunts, but I think he had one of the standout parts in that video. His style looked so cool. That's really what translated to me as a kid who was into music, didn't really understand what all this skate stuff was about and totally wasn't into sports at all; his skating was like music.
In my golden days..... Met Ronnie twice randomly, once floating the salt river when my float popped, he let me float the rest of the river on his float and we talked skateboarding, and drank (pretty sure he has a pop-shov tailgrab tattoo). Next time was at Tempe skatepark, and I was trying pop-shov tails over the euro gap with a broken nose. Dude gave me a fresh board and I road that for a year or 2. Love the skate community!
wasn't it "special fx" from pat brennan's celebrity tropical fish part? chainsaws, late shoves, airwalk enigmas and moonlight sonata! i had pat's meat stick slick board that he does the kickflip late shove on. R.I.P. pat.
So nice to see that generation of skaters embracing the youtube thing. I remember back in the day skaters would shy away from being a "youtube skater".
Oh my god ronniiiieee broooo you're one of my hugggggge inspirations! Im still working out the bs ts 360 out dude the twily birly way. ain't going to be as smooth. then with the the flip! Since I was a kid i been like whoa. Like even at 37 I'm still like holy tish. I've met many famous folks don't give an f about that it was cool at best. if you ever need a body gaurd dude in the words of uncle Eddie from Vegas vacay"id die for you"....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm at the beggining rn but wtf. Dude epic! Thanks for the episode in advance!🤙
Chocolate better secure Chris’ contract. Crob’s gonna be getting a call from Stacy after that flawless Powell edit.
“I wouldn’t think kickflip back tail… I’d think… walk down it.” 😂

Classic Fullerton Garage!!
Wish I was there for the sesh!
I'm watch anything with Ronnie in it, he was ahead of the game late 90s into early 2000s
Honor skating with him!
Love that spot!
Chemistry is interesting between Ronnie and Crob.
Your part needs a Crob-Plant in it!
Love seeing you and Ronnie skating. Keep doing these videos Chris
More to come!
With the bonus freestyle tricks at the end too. Priceless
Still got em!
the glory push after the switch heel was phenomenal!
Gotta get the glory push
One, I'm 43, I really feel this energy. Two, I did a double fist clutch when Chris hit the trick.
I appreciate that
This is the best show on the entire Internet!

Chris Robert’s kind of reminds me of Kermit the frog in the best way: the silly dry humor and the main character everyone knows and loves
Is no one going to point out the absolute comedic edit of Crobs hat being backwards at roll up amd forwards for the Manny 😂❤
Fullerton curbs, that’s the dojo!
Chris’s jokes are killing me all day all the time brah 😂😭😂😭😂😭
🤛🛹❤
I work a block from here now, and I used to skate here every day in the 90s. Great spot.
Jaw literally dropped on that last trick. This is the best part I've seen in 2024. HOLY MOLY.
Made my day thanks crob!
Glad you enjoyed!
This was awesome.
Dude that sw heel out was buttery af. Still f*ing got it ✊
Pretty sure apples kickflip back smith’d that rail. That switch manny switch heel was sick crob.
Thank you
Ronnie is the best! And love that Fullerton spot :) 🔥❤
Definitely agree with you there. Most skateparks are built with goofy stance in mind . Us regulars are finding it hard to find a suitable skatepark.
11:07 That was perfection! 👌🏽✨
🤗
Hell yeah, Thanks CROB !
The splice with the hat being backwards then forward was hilarious
Heath backtail kick flip out on that green rail
Best filmer ever.
Best Skater on Planet earth, with the best Humor for sure ❤😂
Awwweee shucks

I first saw ronnie creager skate in person in Tampa I think in the late 90s. Damn he was so good.
8:33 "I gain sponsors from not skating well".
You also gain subscribers from not skating well. How do you do it?
🤷♂️
“Nahh I ollied out” 😂
Oh man! I was at the premiere for this episode, it was siick!
Wooooo
“Is he coming back?” Walk away like nosferatu. That was the second best trick you did in this video!
Ronnie said Es has visor beanies? Definitely buying one NOW!!!
No way, crob actually got a solid trick instead of complaining the whole time 😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Please make these more😂🤣😂
I will, thanks
Switch manny Switch heel.
-J.T
Ronnie has been shredding that intersection for decades 😂
Yeah Chris! Way to get it.
Thanks!
I hope i can meet Chris in person 😂🙏🏽
My favorite effin skater 😮😮😮😮😮😮 Ronnie creager!!! Period!!! Effortless and technical
“I gain sponsors from not skating well”….🤣🤣🤣
Super Og Fullerton spot
I watched a while back you trying to make this trick in another video. I watched in suspense this time waiting for you to stick it! 👍
my siri went off when he said hey siri lmao
Powell magic! ✨
I like how at no point whatsoever is Ronnie introduced, and the video description doesn't even tell you who it is.... top tier stuff Chris.
He needs no introduction. Legend
Another banger! Car park and a manny pad is best time
For real!
4:46 woah didn't know there was Appleyard x Creager beef lore

Switch manny switch heel was sooooo good crob!
I appreciate that

Crob locked in on Powell officially 🎉
Let’s get these kids into summer already
The Mr. Burns of skateboarding
The splice line was too sick 😂
Thanks!
So nice to see that generation of skaters embracing the youtube thing. I remember back in the day skaters would shy away from being a "youtube skater".
Every time chris skates imagine the song the eye of the tiger playing in the background.
Lmao. He has no problem ollieing to manny, but navigating his line through a completely empty parking lot. Now THATS a challenge!
Did you see how fast I was pushing!?
@@chrisroberts true. That was like mach 10
