  • An update and more in-depth explanation on how I got rid of a small bed bug infestation from my last video where I talked about using CimeXa insecticide powder. I got a request for a video and I thought I would make a video so others dealing with bed bugs could learn from what I did to help themselves.

    This was great! My family had bedbugs sometime back, and it was hell getting rid of them. I know about diatomecious earth and looked to see if CimeXa was just... that, but apparently it's even more effective for bedbugs! You can catch them from library books even, so it's great to know there's good options out there!

    A good way is to oil the walls put it on the cracks of the floor of your room and put it on your bed and then sleep on plastic for 3 months… and you can live with thousands and they won’t be able to bite you…
    I moved into an apartment with 100,000 of them and I heavily oiled my walls.. immediately removed my carpets and bleached the floors.. oiled the walls put new carpet down. Put this power on my new carpet and then plastic on top and then my bed and I put that on my bed and plastic around it. I made an oil spray to the side of the bed.. and by the time I finished my lease I had no bed bugs…
    I had so many in that place I would find and sweep dead’s ones off the plastic all the time.
    I also washed my laundry daily and dried my bed sheets every night. I also never put a couch in there and I powdered ever floor and put plastic on top of it. I was afraid to have more furniture than I needed.
    But by the end of my lease I was honestly ready to stay there and about 2 months before I took the plastic down… and vacuumed my floors and I didn’t have a new infestation by the time I left.
    Now everytime I get a new place. I powder all of the carpets and I sleep on an air mattress for a few weeks before I bring my stuff in… I got PTSD from that nightmare

      @@TheGrubbFamily1 put it this way I wrapped my bed in plastic oiled the sides powdered the floors and inside my plastic and washed my blankets and pillows everyday. I bagged all my clothing only kept out what I needed. I mean.. I did what I had to do. It’s a lot of work and it takes renewing the powder, renewing the oils on a weekly basis.
      You can not give them an inch of room to be anywhere. They will live anywhere they can in the entire house.

The product CrossFire is the only thing that ever worked for me and it worked so fast. Just follow the easy instructions, you just mix the whole bottle with 1 gal of warm tap water and put into a spray bottle. I sprayed my entire home, bed, couches, baseboards, closets, etc really spray everything good and damp and let it completely dry. I did this over a month ago and I’m telling you I haven’t been bit since. I purchased off Amazon but don’t take my word for it, check out this products reviews! Not if it forces the bugs to hide behind walls to escape the heat and travel to other rooms our dwelling units. I got my next door neighbor's bugs scampering over to me because she had her apt heat treatment.
      Edit: But I will agree that using steam heat from a steam cleaning machine on infested furniture is an effective killing method, yes.

And I just bought last night the bed bug spray and the diatomaceous earth but don't know what to use 1st.

    Two I saw in one day were at 3 am and an 5 am.

    And it’s usually on my hands😭

    • @kookinit11
      @kookinit11  Рік тому

      If you can see them crawling on bed, you might have a bad infestation. For the 3 times I delt with them I never actually saw them crawling, only when I was trying to find them hiding in the pillow case. I never tried the bombs because they seem more toxic but I would give the cimexa a try since its cheap. Better to get bit on your hands, when I got bit on my neck I had to wear collared shirts to hide the big red welts on my neck. Good luck on getting rid of your bed bug problem.

They typically come out at night when you are sleeping. so that is why those times. if you slept at different times, they would adjust to those times you DO sleep. or they will be around where you maybe sit often, at the computer etc. that happened to me before. I had a time getting rid of them, but I finally did.
