Thank you Gemma! For me your very first tip is the most crucial - tidy and organize your closet. I used to be that person who could never decide what to wear and no wonder - my closet was jammed with clothes from every season and in every size I'd been for the past 10 years! I donated/sold or recycled everything I didn't love. Next, I stored everything out of season. Finally I organized my in-season pieces by type of thing e.g., I hung all the dresses together, trousers etc and then by colour from light to dark. Was about 3 to 4 hours of work total divided over a few days and some of the best time investment I've ever spent! It's dead-easy to put an elegant look together from an organized closet.
I love that you are promoting scarves! I have been collecting them for years but don’t wear them as often as I should. They add a splash of color, softness, a touch of romance or that ‘little something’ that makes an otherwise plain outfit, memorable.
Since watching your videos I have combined so many items from my wardrobe that I would have never tried before. It’s been so much fun challenging myself to wear new combinations all the time. I keep a journal of what I wear each Sunday for church and brunch. It’s been months since I’ve had to repeat a look. This past Sunday I wore a taupe cashmere top, same shade wool trousers, with a navy blazer and a navy scarf with a tiny floral design. All of these items I have had for years but never put them together before. Thanks so much for the great ideas.

I had a co worker and friend who never wore her beautiful clothes at work because we had a woman chief who herself used to wear very plain simple clothes. I never used to care about that and used to wear my beautiful clothes everywhere and also at work. My woman chief always had a jaleous look on it. But I didn't mind and did like I felt. But one day I left the company to work in another company and had mainly men as co workers and a man chief. I never had any problem wearing my beautiful wardrobe there and they even appreciated my style a lot. One day I met my ex co worker and friend and she told me that she has began to wear her beautiful clothes at work too. One day she asked the woman chief for an augmentation of salary. And guess what she answered her? "No. If you can wear such clothes, you don't need any augmentation of salary." Isn't it unbelieveable!? I was so glad that I left the company and could ahead wear whatever I loved to without being judged. Working with mostly men always was a big advantage to me.
I am guilty of only using one purse to death as I really dislike to move everything from one to another as my purse is very organized, everything has it’s place. But it does limit my outfit choices. Yesterday after watching this video, I ordered a purse insert organizer. Will see how it works out. Excited!

Great ideas as always, Gemma! I've been meaning to add some waistcoats to my wardrobe but I haven't yet. I love how they can add some color or texture to a button-down or a turtleneck. I tend to go for solid colors in shirts and turtlenecks, but I can see myself adding a bit of a pattern (albeit, a subtle one) or a texture via the waistcoat.
in May this year I went to a diner for my friends birthday (Germany) three of the guests has the Lilysilk blue and white striped blouse - I love it, but stick I to plain silk for outings to avoid that "Oh you have the same as me" look.
My main wardrobe is the length of the full gable end of my house, then there is another wardrobe for long length clothes, and I’m still wondering what I can wear tomorrow and the next day 🤔 I really need to dig deep to remind myself of what is in my wardrobes.

The khaki with navy is a genius idea! I literally have a khaki pant that's gathering dust lol. The red and pink is a bit tough, i think...looks great on some but not sure i could pull it off! Maybe if they are of different intensities - i.e. bright or deep red skirt with a soft pink shirt rather than a hot pink one. Any ideas on what to pair with a black and white pencil skirt for office??? Other than a black or white top...
Another great video of ideas. All I could see on your pink skirt was the security tag! I hope you got it off without incident. Often you get out of the store with one on without setting off the alarm and then it sets it off when you go back to have it removed.
It's right pain! I got 4 things home with a security tag on, this one I couldn't get off so I've got to take it back to get it removed. I'm expecting the alarm to go off when I walk in even though it didn't go off when I went out 😂
