The Catholic Church between East and West

In Central Europe, the (Catholic) Church shows different faces between West and East. While the "synodal way" is discussed passionately and controversially in the Archdiocese of Cologne, the (Catholic) Church in Eastern Germany hardly plays a role any more. In Poland and Slovakia, on the other hand, the Church has taken a different way. How can dialogue and mission succeed under these different conditions?
