Tommy said He took drums for the Ramones because he had no choice He never played drums before but here He sounds so amazing his parts are so spot on and I love it, He is my favorite Ramone Drummer!
He was learning how to play with them, that's why they always sounded amazing with Tommy. Once he left the band's sound changed completely and it was never the same although I love Marky and Richie drumming style.

His dad was stationed on an army base in Germany, he lived there as a kid during the Cold War. He has a perspective about nazi germany that you and I don’t have. Also, he regularly wore US Army badges on the lapel of his jackets.
