Bottom tank is water catcher, oil/gunk is common. You don't have to dump all the air, just give a bleed till clear of moisture. Our trucks had pull, rather than push with a chain. attached. We would give them a two second tug as we hopped it and that was enough.
I tried to register my unimog in Washington state but the state don't accepted ( I live there). I can see that registered your unimog in Montana. Could you give more information about that? thanks
If you are talking about the red truck in my driveway, it is a 98' Montero. I watched the driving portion again and did not see any LCs but it is possible. Can't recall any HJ60 in the neighborhood though.
@@MogsAndDogs it looks like a 60 series lol. Good video bro,I've got a 1300l with a om366la engine. My brake valve is dumping air sometime when I break so I've got to do the same job but mine is a right hand drive and is located in the foot well.
I have a 1983 1300L Unimog with the same problem, now I know how to fix it! thanks!!
You are welcome. Good luck with the valve!
Excellent video, thanks for sharing Chad and greetings from Denmark!

I am enjoying your videos, good work.
Your sound jumps around a bit from one "scene" to the next and then the music is at a whole nuther level FYI.
Thanks. I will work on that.

Sorry, not going to get into that one on UA-cam. Feel free to contact me through our site mogsanddogs.org.
Very good~^^
Thank you! Cheers!
Did you have to buy new seals? Any parts link if so? Thanks
I did not replace anything. Expedition Imports sells a rebuild kit here: expedition-imports.com/0004308006
Was that a hj60 cruiser I spotted?

@@robertholton5176 Thanks. Yeah, that was one of my favorite repairs so far - it didn't cost anything
