  • @wesleychiminya4962
    @wesleychiminya4962 2 роки тому +3

    Very good video except that Gravitational Potential Energy is not a property of the object, this is a very common misconception held by teachers and hence by students. It is hence not correct to say that the object has a GPE of xxxJ, it is the Earth and Object system that the energy is transferred to when work is done by raising the object up in a gravitational field. In short the the energy is transferred to the system not the object.

    Hello ! Remember me ? That biology test went smoothly ( too smoothly now that I think about it ) ! The results will come in August , do you why does it takes so long ? ? And now I am watching your videos because I am considering to join a class that will tech the whole physics curricula of secondary school in one year ( if that makes sense ) …
    By the way , I forgot to say . The way you explain things are so clear ! As an eleven year old that took the IGCSE biology test ( me ) , I literally saved thousands of pounds because of you ! ( IGCSE tutors want big bucks for their works ) , and I want to say . When tutors use two hours to talk about one topic , you only require one or two videos !
    Thank you for everything !
    Also , what app do you use to make these animations ?

    please give proper definitions for the terms like mass and weight fo=rom next time would be real useful

    • @b07x
      @b07x Рік тому

      Mass is how much thing is in the object.
      Weight is how heavy an object is.
      Weight can be changed depending on the Mass and Acceleration due to gravity. So the weight is dependent on Mass.
      Mass is processed through calculations to get the weight.
      Weight can be different based upon your location. While your mass will stay the same regardless of the location (however mass of a human or animal may change if they lose fat from body, this would lead to their weight also decreasing).
      Because
      Weight = Mass × Acceleration due to gravity (Gravitational Field Strength)
