Huge Colin Richardson fan so made a demo with some tones from his STL pack. Shout out of Chris Clancy who collaborated on this too www.twitch.tv/joshmiddleton www.joshmiddleton.com/shop/
Perfect Tone right there!!! I feel the active pickup might help in this scenario! I might end up with a gtr equipped with active pickup for my studio. Good job sir!
hi man, greetings from Russia. I must say right away, I am against war. please tell me, which company are the strings? I love your team. he plays constantly in the car. I'm waiting for a new album
Tone sounds a lot like the guitar tone on the Max Cavalera Roadrunner United track (and also "burn my eyes" from Machine Head) : ua-cam.com/video/QD-N311e8K4/v-deo.html
Probably down to me being a shitty player but how do you change chords so fast without the string screeching? Hammer on's are way too messy with my coordination. Such a creative guitarist, heavily influenced my style of playing. Just need to get into my arpeggios and hope to god the penny drops on shredding so I can at least play some Sylosis stuff (badly)...
You probably have too much gain, if I'm understanding what you mean by screeching. Try practicing muting a string and then immediately lifting your hand when you move, instead of dragging your hand across the strings the entire time it's muted.
@@roguetrufflepig Don't be afraid to turn up, or even stack noise gates as well. I typically run around -55dB for rhythmic stuff. around -65 for leads. You want the attack of the gate the be as low as possible, same with the release. That way it opens and shuts instantly. Make sure you aren't hitting the recording interface too hot. You want to avoid clipping at all costs because this will turn even the best amp sims into an absolute mess of hiss and noise. Again, gain is everything. Back off the gain knob, and get more of that aggression and tone out of being able to play your instrument with confidence, rather than fighting the noises and hums and hisses.
These tones are about as bad as your riffs. Imagine writing this riff and being like oh yeahhh this doesn’t sound worse than washed up 80s thrash bands.
We need a full album containing a collection of Josh's promo riffs on this channel. It will definitely be a killer album.
Lord Riffleton has returned once more
can you give us the backing track of the riffs? would love to learn these. sick riff 🤟🏾
litterally so easy, just learn it by ear, god..
@@Guitareye90 he was asking for the backing track to play along, try to read closer before bashing someone
@@Guitareye90 what a shitty reply. Try and be nicer my guy. It's super easy.
@@Guitareye90 Everybody should just be you
@@Guitareye90 Or just say nothing instead of shitty on others..

Hi, which preset is this and did you need to adjust it a lot?
Hi, great tone. Any EQ ideas that he has on this chain?
Which drums are you using?
Is this the JM signature guitar?
Tone sounds a lot like the guitar tone on the Max Cavalera Roadrunner United track (and also "burn my eyes" from Machine Head) :

Not a fan of the super artificial sounding low mids.

First riff reminds me of dying fetus
