I don't believe that any human being doesn't enjoy touching a beautiful body, or their job sometimes. I've had professional medical massage professionals of both genders say it to my face, that they really like my physique. The weird part is the detail and knowledge of mechanics. They'll be under the scapula or something and say "oooh!" In a flirty way. And I'm just relaxed and focused on feeling them and correct breathing. Super cute. Salon hairdressers do it, too. Duckin nurses! It's not unprofessional to appreciate a client. Don't dehumanize in your proffession!
Commenting on a person's physique during a session just seems weird to me. It's possible that I was trained fairly conservative compared to others. I've definitely worked on some athletes with good muscle tone, and other than saying comments like
"I can tell you can take good care of yourself, that's nice to see",
I would never comment "wow your back looks great" or "nice shoulders". The conversation just never goes there. I'm not thinking about how they look, I'm thinking about how the muscle feels and what it's attached to, and overall mechanics involving posture and how they work.
Saying stuff In a flirty way with a client is a huge red flag for me, and that kind of interaction does not happen on my table.
It's not about dehumanizing them, it's ensuring a safe environment where physical looks don't matter.

you seem like the right person to ask, so here goes. There are now a ton of asian massage parlors around my town, and they offer affordable prices, but...are the rumors true that they're basically just fronts for illegal prostitution? Seems kind of like it might be true because all of them are open super late, and they have blacked out windows a lot of the time. Seems kinda suss!
I won't automatically say yes to all of them.. BUUTTT.... at least one or two the odds are pretty high lol
Blacked out windows especially if they are at the front of the store is a huge sign of sus activity.
But also it doesn't necessarily have to be fronts for just rub and tug places. Plenty have been busted for illegal imports and drug fronts.
I would never visit an Asian styled place, and would prefer to look for owner operated businesses like mine with CLEAR online profiles and readable clean menus lolol
However over on the eastern side of the wold it's muxh different and can find plenty of normal Asian style massage places. Just be prepared to be naked with nothing covering your bits. That's just what they do over there lol
I've met workers from those places locally before. Yes, some were human trafficked to a place to live, good food, and a definitely sus job. But they made it here (to a beautiful pacific northwest small city) and they honestly love it, so they just get a bank account, save some, pay the debt of how they got here, and eventually bring their family. It's really what the usa was made for. All of our ancestors, if not native, did it the same way!
Most places, prostitution is legal, but solicitation is not. Like it's illegal to offer or ask monetary compensation for sexual tasks. But... a good tip at the Starbucks can get a kitty flash.
Seriously, a massage therapist feeling awkward about a stiffy? No, get a different job! There is nothing weird about any body, or what it does in that proffession.
A person getting an erecrion IS an awkward situation and weird. You can be a professional of course, but that is not a "normal" reaction with most clients.
Most massage therapists are women, and do not need to be constantly subjected to unwanted boners on the table when most already face unwanted pics in their inbox.

@@SuperRutherr in my opinion, it's kinda like asking women to not have nipples. It's only awkward if we make it so. It's honestly a part of the autonomic reflex system and anyone in a physiological field should be used to it. Imagine being a doctor and doing a prostate exam, or even a beautician waxing. It seems normal.
@@SuperRutherr the unwanted pics in an inbox is a completely different subject. That is chosen and directed by a mind. A physical response in a physical situation is not driven by a mind. Big difference.
I've had women and men orgasm from a non erotic massage. It's kinda standard if you do your job right. No genital manipulation required, all above the belt. Remember how fucked up some of these people are physically. Push a muscle slug down and see what happens?
