Lunar surface in 3D

There is no obstacle to sending Opportunity or Curiosity to the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon and filming it with a GoPro-showing the diapers, the flag, and the remains of the descent module. This would be a meaningful way to honor and express gratitude on the 50th, 60th, or 70th anniversary of this historic event.
There’s no need to keep sending an American astronaut back to the Moon and endlessly talking about how much money was wasted and how the next mission got delayed again-whether due to lack of funds, a sick engineer, or a new president. It’s enough to autonomously crawl around the lunar artifacts and transmit video back to Earth via radio, using a cheap umbrella or a $10 laser.
