Lol... 20+ hours, of trying the same tunes over, and over, with no mistakes... finally just gave up,they sounded fine, once I got that one good track of each tune down, it was a huge relief...I'm not a musician, just a guy who can play guitar now & then...lol... different story when I have to do something formal with it...

All in the chains... i have many videos on tuning chains and properly sharpening for speed carving set ups... they pretty much go in all on their own... smooth and ckean is the trick...

I am about to engage into some similar art project. It was nice to bump into your work. I am ditching the fossil fuel chainsaw for an electric alternative or some badass hand tools like axes and hatchets.

Cool, that's how I began carving, with hatchet, and chisel, I've thought of making videos on that, it's definitely a good way to carve... I use corded electrics a lot, they're great, I use canola oil as bar and chain oil, so it's easy to get away from petrol, if that's the concern. I don't believe in batteries as an environmental concern, because they are so much worse for the environment in production, and waste, more batteries, means more plastic, for starters,, and more plastic means more oil...lol...thanks for watchin!

That's actually really damn cool.... What did you end up doing with it as a final piece?

@@badasswood what corded electric saw do you like? And what saws do you run in general? I run a ms181, msa200, ms461. I just got the 461. Possibly looking for a better mid range saw? Thoughts?

But i have a collection of basket cases and often trade older pro saws 026 and 036... right now i have a pile of saws im rebuilding 031 av, 200t , 025 ... i do saw tour videos on my collections every now and then when theres time or if i grt something cool to show off like the old homelite zip saw i picked up this summer... turned into a stone cutting saw workin on the water unit for it currently...its pretty non stop fixin and experimenting at my shop...lol...
