Retro Studios is a big influence on the Rare employees of old so much so that they are starting their own company and are starting off with Project Ukelele- a spirtual successor to Banjo Kazooie. Check it out if you haven't already.

The company you want back has already re-emerged as Retro Studios and yes almost everyone who worked on the SNES trilogy worked on DKCR and DKCTF!

I really like this. It's one of the best versions of DK Island Swing I've heard. I really like the one from DKCR, but I think is above because it's very dynamic (or something like that) and it takes the original song and makes a full-on big band song, with some world mixed in near the end before it loops. It's short compared to the original though.
Glad to see they put DK Island Swing into this game as well. It's been in every single DK platformer since DKC, if you count the intro remix in Wrinkly's Save Cave in DKC3 and DKL3.
God these levels are so fun, they’re pretty tough but the pay off makes it all worth while, still a great reason to come back and play the game even after beating it
Some say that the original one had bits of King Louie's theme from "The Jungle Book". Listening to this one, it's hard not to imagine otherwise. It's a very good track indeed.
