I always keep the bubble wraps which come with my orders. They were a massive help when I was shifting. Not only prevents breakage but also reduces waste which might've just been thrown away. Also you don't have to spend on buying new roll

Have you researched - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for decluttering your home minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my work colleague at last got astronomical success with it.
I just happened to see your video. As a person who has been shifting houses all my life, May be around 30+ times, I can say all your points are good. I could add a few more though. One is to not be afraid of all the extra work that it costs. By planning a systematic packing schedule it will be done with no great stress. Since women are going to do most of the work it will be a good idea not to have unhelpful men around, or well wishers who want to help but cause only more work for you. Tell your friends to help you with food, at least once a day to help you do maximum work that could be done. Don't accept invitation in the last few days, nor invite any one to dinner and add up trouble. Donate your books to children who like to read, give away things to poor, especially sarees, vessels etc when they are still good. Happy packing. God bless

I want to move so badly. Heres why. First of all, my house is *150* YEARS OLD!!!! 😡😡. The house i was born near was PERFECT. It had 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, and rugs EVERYWHERE. The house i currently live in the roof is leaky, the doors creak open, the floor is so shaky i dont even feel safe upstairs. The walls are also loose and wobbly. Also there are ants EVERYWHERE. The Windows are thinner then air in space. The front window is *SUPER* flimsy. The basement looks like a dungen and a ton of bugs are down there. There is also only *ONE* Bathroom and its *SUPER SMALL* . And NO Rugs. My feet always hurt while walking on the nails and loose floorboards. I also think my house may be haunted. Somebody help me convince my dad to move us closer to his work in kansas city
If you are a child, and there are bugs, perhaps your parents could buy some sprays/deterrents at the hardware store? If the windows are not double glazed, your house's heating and cooling costs will be very expensive. So your parents will be spending lots of money because of poor insulation. Are your parents renting or do they own this property? Where I live, its not a bad thing to live in an old house - as long as it has been renovated at some point. I am confused why you need a house with rugs, but then, I haven't seen the floorboards. Maybe this is motivation for you to do well in school, so that you don't end up having to live in a house with flaws when you are an adult? Maybe you can encourage your parents to renovate the property, it could be quite fun to do this? Hey, at least your bathroom isn't an outhouse!!

I have one doubt while using zip lock covers in fridge for storing vegetables I feel it's getting decayed soon by it's watery contents... any tips or feedback mam
I would try to eat up all the perishables and frozen items in the weeks before the move. Maybe even make up freezer meals ahead of time, with the veggies and make cooking during the packing as easy as possible. The more you eat ahead of time the less you have to move, especially if it’s not a local move.

Hi, We are moving from a fully furnished rented apartment to a new rented bit empty apartment. We need to purchase all the stuff in this apartment like bed (we are planning box beds), fridge, TV, microwave, washing machine, sofa, centre table, dining table etc. The new apartment is a 2BHK in 1000 sq.ft. area. So the rooms are just enough size for a double bed and then some walking space. There is no separate storage room in this apartment. Thus my question is, can you please suggest some tips for keeping cardboard boxes and original packing material which comes along with the electronic equipments. Since, we stay in a rented apartment, we will have to shift after 2-3 years and then we will be needing these boxes for safety of our equipments. Please suggest! Thank you

Nice video. My problem with this is; not everyone has the extra cash to pay movers and pay for someone to come out to dismantle their stuff for them. Also, if you don't really have that kind of $ you probably can't afford to have any of your nice, hard earned things, broke or come up missing. I will say that it would be nice to have that luxury! Maybe you or some of you wouldn't even consider that a luxury. I'm just talking out of my bum, now. However, if you have an endless supply of money or have no problem trusting that some strangers will do all of this properly and Not take a small fortune from you or brake something....have someone you don't know do what needs to be done. Kind of scary. If i had a certain amount of $, I might actually use this route. Or some of it but I'd have to supervise most of it!
Yes, I agree it may not suit every individual. You may need to adapt it to your needs and circumstances. Thank you for writing to us. The underlying principle of handing precious items, documents by self is important. Right labelling and categorizing can help faster time to unpack and settle down.
