You are so lovely without a stitch of makeup!! I go back and forth on the Dior and really foundation stick. But I have seen no negative reviews of the Dior one. That is a perfect foundation match. It looks so beautiful on you! I absolutely love my Dior, Chanel makeup! Sometimes luxury proves why it is luxury! I get it. These Dior foundation and contour are lovely! What’s interesting is that the Givenchy powder is only shiny in the lighter shades, I heard. Something about how mixing the lighter shades with a component makes it shiny but the deeper shades absorb it or something, Oh wow! You look STUNNING! I love this eye look so much!! Your Charlotte Tillbury lipliner and City Lip lip gloss were beautiful! Wow!! Your makeup is so gorgeous at the end of the day! I bought: Two Guerlain lip oils (Honey and Poppy,) The new Patrick Ta foundation, The Makeup by Mario Master Mettalics palette (I caved and bought the new Midnight Ethereal Eyes before the sale😅) Restocked my Danessa Myrricks Blurring Balm in Universal and a Fenty Lipstick refill ( it was $10!)
Thank you! 💖 I love seeing what you bought. Do you like the Guerlain lip oils? I have one on my wish list. The Mario palette is stunning, I’ve almost gotten in a couple of times but I keep talking myself out of it. So far I’m loving the Dior foundation stick. I’ve only worn it twice but it’s quickly becoming a favorite. I haven’t had much luck with Chanel so I’m weary to buy more but I love the brand as a whole so much I still want to I just haven’t decided what. I heard the same thing about the Givenchy powder and I can’t remember where. I’m still hoping they will go back to the original formula. 💖
That’s so crazy how instantly you can see how much brighter the new powder is. I wonder if they’ll go back to the old powder since nobody really seems to like the new powder. Hopefully they will.
I LOVED LOVE LOVED this video! I went back for a second purchase/haul after the one I showed you lol. I think the best deals on the Sephora Sale is Westman and Tom Ford.
Thank you! It was so nice to play with some new makeup. 😂 I’ve been building another order as well… I don’t know if I’ll actually purchase it but we’ll see. Luxury in general are the best deals right now cause they never go on sale.
I also try to get some of my staples during the sale, even my brush cleaner. I also get foundations during the sale. This year I picked up the new One Size one, which I like. I prefer a full coverage foundation as I am 67 with super dry skin. I have a cream bronzer from Westman Atelier that is fabulous. It is a more cool tone bronzer, which I need for my super fair skin. I tried the new Givenchy powder, and…NO! Not on mature skin. I will be sticking with Huda and One Size. I only buy Indie eyeshadows now as I love color and don’t like most luxury brands. Great video!
I know you left your comment for Sarah but I’m so glad I did because I’ve wanted to pick up the Westman Atelier bronzer but was worried it wouldn’t be cool toned. Since the sale is still on I’m going to buy it. Thank you! I like to read comments to see what others have to say. I shouldn’t because I always spend to much money. Your comment is a perfect example!😂 Have a nice and relaxing weekend.
Oooh I have to know what you think of the OS foundation. I’m a foundation junkie but I’ve found the brand caters more towards oily skin and I haven’t had much luck complexion wise since I’m more dry leaning. Also, I love the Westman bronzer as well… it’s the perfect color. 💖
@@SarahTones85 I like the OS so far- I’ve worn it 3 times. I do prep my skin with my morning skin care, and use the Rituel deFille Thorn oil as a primer. This is the only primer I use for my super dry skin. I imagine if you are more normal it will work fine for you.
I'm deciding between the Westman Atelier contour stick vs the Dior contour stick. I love the new dior foundation stick, so I'm leaning towards the Dior. Lmk 😅
Great video -- thank you for you honest reviews. I was also disappointed with the reformulated Givenchy powder -- it was nothing like the original on my skin. Unfortunately, Guerlain reformulated their "perles" at the same time, which was my back-up favorite finishing powder to the Givenchy, and it also now sucks, lol. I don't understand the impulse to take a best-selling product and tinker with it! I am also a fair skinned, cool under-toned girlie, and I have not ever found a Dior foundation that oxidized on me, so I hope the new Dior stick foundation works for you. The Dior primer is also excellent, IMO. You are luckier in the skin department, however, as my skin is dry as the desert, and the climate in North Texas is not humid most of the year so I appreciate a more luminous foundation. I might be the only person who was happy with the new Patrick Ta foundation, though, for exactly those reasons: my dry skin loved it, and it gave just the right amount of coverage and luminosity without appearing shiny or greasy. I get 8 hours without a primer, and an easy 12 hours with primer and powder. I do not know how comfortable it would be in a more humid climate, however. P.S. I have tried two of the One/Size foundations, and while the brand has a good initial color match for me, both types of foundation oxidized badly on me, and were too drying for my skin. Just my two cents.
You’re welcome! 😊 I saw that Guerlain reformulated their meteorites (which is one of my fave powders) but I haven’t tried the new formula yet. That’s disappointing to know that it’s not the same. I have the Patrick Ta foundation and I like it but man does it transfer and break down in this heat and humidity. I’m waiting for the weather to get cooler so I can bust it back out and try it again because I love the way it looked and felt on my skin, I just didn’t get the same wear time as you 😢 This humidity ruins everything, lol. I’ve only tried one OS foundation. I got it in a boxy charm and aside from it being the wrong shade for me it was so drying on my skin. I decluttered it. I do want to try the Dior primer but I’m trying to get through some of the ones I have first. 💖
Yikes Givenchy! Not good. 😮 I was telling you to stop and don’t put it under your eyes!! I wanted to purchase it myself and try it but my gut was telling me not to. Everything else looks good. I always get marks from my glasses. I’m going to wait for your review and see what worked for that. Again everything else looks good. Have a nice and hopefully a relaxing weekend! ❤
I would have been screaming at myself too! 😂 BUT I figured under the eyes was the best way to test it. I will keep you posted on the foundation… I’m going to try it with no primer or powder to see what it does. The marks drive me nuts and this would be a holy grail if it holds up to my glasses no matter what. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend as well 💖

@ I do like the Guerlain lip glosses! I will be getting one more maybe next sale or if they have a Black Friday sale (doubtful 😅).
@@MakeupAgain561I might have to get one. I don’t need any lip products but 1 more wouldn’t hurt, right? 😂

I really hope they do. Listen to the people and give them what they want 💖

I love the Westman Atelier but I think the Dior is creamier and melts into the skin nicer. Plus you get almost double the product in the Dior.
