Ma'am, I want to know that why did you choose Marketing for Ph.D? And since you were a commerce kid throughout, So, after Ph.D, what subjects do you teach right now? and how are we given subjects to teach in college? is it our choice or does the employer decide?
@@bhagyashreegwalani commerce has various areas such as finance, marketing, international business etc. I chose marketing because of my interest and luckily there was a vacancy in PhD in marketing in IP university. Mostly, we teach subjects as per our specialisations only. However, also greatly depends on the requirements in the institution. If your choice and the vacancy matches, bang on! Otherwise it’s generally the requirement of the subject that’s advertised. One suggestion to keep yourself updated and open to teaching all the relevant subjects that you can.

Mam maine bsc kar rakhi h main ab M.A. political science karna chahta hun Aur political science ka assistant professor Banna chata hun Please bataiye koi dikkat no nahi hogi ug and pg main different subjects se Kyonki ugc ke regulations ke according koi dikkat nahi h
There is no problem, you should be able to justify the change of subjects. And always, your PG is considered for net exam and assistant professor jobs.
This is completely abided by the rules. There is no problem. You can easily go ahead. In some interviews, you may be asked for the reason of change of streams which you should be able to Justify.
Mam one last question Is there any rule that bsc graduates can do MA with only practical subjects? Do they are not allowed in assistant professor with being theory subjects like pol sci. Sociology history etc Please reply mam

You can become an assistant professor without PhD. Eventually you will need PhD for growth & promotions.
