They usually have 2, maybe 3 options from whoever their tire sponsor offers. Maxxis Aspens for example are a very popular XC tire in anything but mud. Lots of similar/good XC tires available these days.

Looks a fast flowing course, compared to most of the courses this year. Looking forward to seeing how it looks when all finished and dressed up.
The camera has a way of making hills look flat.

Went riding this afternoon in my mountains. 4 hours climbs and donwhills. Gosh I am so slow compared to these guys. i think i will stop MTB.
