Goku Black was actually a Supreme Kai named Zamasu, who from an alternate timeline where he used Super Dragon Balls to do a bodyswap with Goku.
Not as simple as the Ginyu one, because Zamasu was able to utilized Goku's body at its peak right away, and murdered Goku in his previous body + Goten and Chi Chi.
The thing is that having Goku's body giving him a huge desire for battle

Kinda, but Raditz can power up, get zenkais and has more intelligence than Saibamen, as much as a brute can tho.
That somehow contestable, since a oficial Guide stated Radtiz wad a 1500 power level, while Saibaman where fixed 1200, my personal theory its that Radtiz suffered a Zenkai since the last time Nappa and Vegeta scanned him, so he got stronger(Or the guide its just wrong, that a possibility)

Goku *did* seem excited to even work with Turles and Black, but maybe they didn’t want a team interaction because DBS Bardock and Raditz might conflict a little.
Edit: And I mean meta/lore-wise. Raditz brought up one version of Goku’s origins, Bardock had another. The Minus retcon is gonna get as far as the devs want to be as less “divisive” as it needs to be.

Also, I'm curious: do Cooler and Kimg Cold have any unique dialogue with eachother? I know Cooler respects his father more than Frieza, but it's also implied he resents him for handing the reigns of their empire over to the youngest.
