I couldn’t agree more. We have the same style steps on both our couch (3-step) and bed (6-step). For the most part, our dogs won’t jump on the couch unless the stairs are present… for the most part 😉

The steps are only 15 wide which is really important and didn’t measure.

I saw them rock when he went up them. I read where a person had to spend thousands in vet bills because their dog was injured when the steps flipped over. Is there a way you could secure them better, short of putting something heavy on this side of them so they could not move.

They will only flip over if the dog is too heavy for them, and I mean really heavy. I have a set for my 17 pound dog and they have never flipped over. I’m 188 pounds and even I can lean against them and they don’t flip over. Buy the soft foam ones, not the rigid plastic ones.
