HMT pilot watch is a mechanical watch, and it needs winding and one full winding ..Will give 2 days running
For winding the watch you have to turn the crown clock wise for 12-13 times approx ..Or wind it till you find some resistance while winding

It stops within 24 hours.
Do we have to wind till resistance everytime?

If you are giving it proper wrist time it's not necessary that you have to wind it till you find some resistance
If you occasionally use it ....Seems like you have to get it overhaul once with a good watch mechanic

I mean...If you use it regularly.....These watches give good time and runs properly...
If you are keeping it idle for long time ..The oil near the jewels dry up and needs service or overhaul
